Research Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of two kinds of depths on point-toward-point needling from Qiuxu(GB40)to Zhaohai(KI6)in treating post-stroke lower limb function.Research Method:The 90 patients were divided into deep acupuncture group, shallow acupuncture group and control group, and were treated for 3 weeks.Wisconsin gait scale(WGS),the Modified Ashworth Scale of a lower limb(MAS)and Fugl-Meyer Lower Limb Motor Function Assessment Scale(the lower limb FMA)were scored and detected in all three groups before and 3 weeks after treatment. The three groups were tested with plantar pressure analysis before treatment and 1,2 and 3 weeks after treatment.Research Results:(1)Evaluation result of Wisconsin gait scale(WGS assessment)showed that the WGS scores of the three groups were improved after 3 weeks of treatment. There were significant differences between before and after treatment in the three group(P<0.05).There were significant differences between shallow acupuncture group and control group(P<0.05).There were significant differences between deep acupuncture group and control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences between deep acupuncture group and shallow acupuncture group(P>0.05).(2)Evaluation result of the Modified Ashworth Scale of a lower limb(MAS)showed that there were no significant differences between before and after treatment in three groups(P>0.05).There were no significant differences between shallow acupuncture group and control group(P>0.05).There were no significant differences between deep acupuncture group and control group(P>0.05).There were no significant differences between deep acupuncture group and shallow group(P>0.05).(3)Evaluation result of Fugl-Meyer Lower Limb Motor Function Assessment Scale(the lower limb FMA)showed that the FMA scores of the three groups were improved after 3weeks of treatment. There were significant differences between before and after treatment in the three group(P<0.05).There were significant differences between shallow acupuncture group and control group(P<0.05).There were significant differences between deep acupuncture group and control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences between deep acupuncture group and shallow acupuncture group(P>0.05).(4)Inspection result of heel impulse on the affected side shows that in the analysis of repeated measurement for three groups,P value of group therapy is lower than 0.05,the P value of time is lower than 0.05,P value of time * group is lower than 0.05.In the comparison of each time point, after the first and second weeks of treatment, there was no significant difference in the impact force of the heel on the affected side between the three groups(P>0.05).The affected side's heel impulse of the deeep acupuncture group and shallow acupuncture group were compared after 3 weeks of treatment(P>0.05),meaning that the evaluation doesn't have statistical different. At the same time, there was significant difference between the shallow acupuncture group and control group, the deeep acupuncture group and control group(P<0.05).When comparing within groups, there were significant differences between before and after treatment in three groups(P<0.05).(5)Inspection result of forefoot impulse on the affected side shows that in the analysis of repeated measurement for three groups,P value of group therapy is lower than 0.05,the P value of time is lower than 0.05,P value of time * group is lower than 0.05.In the comparison of each time point, after the first and second weeks of treatment, there was no significant difference in the impact force of the forefoot on the affected side between the three groups(P>0.05).After 3 weeks of treatment, there was significant difference between the shallow acupuncture group and control group, the deeep acupuncture group and control group, the deeep acupuncture group and control group(P<0.05).When comparing within groups, there were significant differences between before and after treatment in three groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Shallow acupuncture and deep acupuncture at Qiuxu(GB40)not only can effectively improve the lower limb motor function and hemiplegia gait in stroke patients, but also can change the distribution of plantar pressure.Deep acupuncture at Qiuxu(GB40)is more effective in improving the impact of the forefoot on the affected side.
