Objective: We aimed to investigate the relationship between the serum CTRP9 level and early renal damage in patients with essential hypertension. Methods:We chose 86 patients with essential hypertension in the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 2019 to December 2019 as object of the study. We also chose 40 health checkers as the control group(A group). All patients are selected according to the Chinese guidelines for the management of hypertension 2018: SBP? 140 mm Hg and(or)DBP?90mm Hg.According the urinary albumin/creatinine ratio, all patients were divided into 2 groups: group B,not combined early renal damage(UACR<30mg/g);group C,combined early renal damage(30mg/g<UACR<300mg/g).The general clinical data and biochemical indexes of the subjects were collected and the serum levels of CTRP9 were detected using ELISA.The data were analyzed with statistical software of SPSS 25.0.Results:1.The level of CTRP9 in group C is significantly lower than that in group A and group B(213.23±27.34ng/ml vs 246.17±34.31ng/ml,213.23±27.34ng/ml vs 230.53±30.43ng/ml,P<0.05).The level of CTRP9 in group B is lower than that in group A(230.53±30.43ng/ml vs 246.17±34.31ng/ml,P<0.05).2.The level of Cys-C in group C is significantly higher than that in group A and group B(1.14±0.39mg/L vs 0.56±0.21mg/L,1.14±0.39mg/L vs 0.64±0.43mg/L,P<0.05);there is no significant difference between group A and group B(0.56±0.21mg/L vs 0.64±0.43mg/L,P>0.05).3.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the level of CTRP9 is negatively correlated to UACR and Cys-C(r=-0.801,P <0.01;r=-0.812,P <0.01).Cys-C is positively correlated to UACR(r =0.835,P < 0.01).4.Multiple regression analysis showed that CTRP9 may be an independent protective factor for UACR(?=-0.360,P<0.01).Cys-C may be an independent risk factor for UACR(?=0.543,P<0.01).Conclusions:The level of serum CTRP9 decreased in the patients with the early renal impairment, and is negatively correlated with UACR,CTRP9 may be a protective factor of early renal damage in essential hypertension.
