Research On Information Disclosure Of Provincial Public Hospitals In The Information Age

Objective: Based on the information asymmetry between doctors an d patients,the author analyzed the influencing factors by investigating t he demand and satisfaction of patients in two types of hospitals,namely comprehensive hospital and specialized hospital,on medical information disclosure,and combined the current situation of medical information d isclosure in hospitals,so as to provide a reference for improving the le vel of hospital information disclosure.Methods: This study used literature research method and theoretical analysis method to consult relevant literature at home and abroad,and compiled a questionnaire.According to the classification of hospitals,fo ur specialized and comprehensive public hospitals were randomly selecte d and questionnaires were distributed to patients on the spot.A total of404 questionnaires were distributed and 378 effective questionnaires we re recovered.The valid questionnaire was uniformly coded,a database was established through Eip Data3.1,and descriptive analysis,chi-square test,t-test and multiple regression analysis were conducted by SPSS20.0statistical software.Results: 1.80.69% will collect information before seeing a doctor.81.74% of the patients think that medical information disclosure is nece ssary,and 90.48% of the patients have a need for medical information disclosure.The most desirable disclosure institutions were hospitals(70.37%),health administrative departments(63.49%),and government-commi ssioned third parties(52.12%).The most desirable sources of disclosure were the hospital's official website(74.33%),Weibo and We Chat(50.79%),television,newspaper and radio(46.30%).Most want to disclose fre quency: specialist hospital is half a year,general hospital is a year.Among the patients in specialized hospitals,65.33% wanted to make disclos ure mainly in the form of written description,and 63.13% in general h ospitals;2.Patients in the top eight of the demand for disclosure conte nt include: medical service quality and security(77.51%),complaints,di sputes and handling results(70.37%),medical services basic information (67.72%),medical service fees(64.29%),experts(64.02%),the medical service efficiency(55.56%),patients' satisfaction report(50.79%),hospit al profiles(49.21%);3.The overall satisfaction of patients with medical information disclosure in specialized hospitals is higher than that in gen eral hospitals,while the quality,safety and efficiency of medical service are lower than that in general hospitals.Through multiple regression an alysis,the influence of specialized subject,surveyed the general hospital of the patient's medical information disclosure overall satisfaction factor s including hospitals,experts,medical service information,medical qualit y and safety,patient satisfaction and hospital financial information,scien tific research and teaching conditions,medical costs,hospital credit,part icipate in community activities,in accordance with the practice situation.The specialized hospital also includes the disclosure frequency.Conclusions:1.There are certain differences between the demands of the investi gated patients on the way,way and frequency of disclosure and the act ual situation of the hospital,so the hospital should make further adjust ments according to the needs of the patients.2.The disclosure content of different types of hospitals is different from the actual demand of the investigated patients for the medical inf ormation disclosure content.For the most concerned and needed content s of patients,the investigated hospital's disclosure is not comprehensive enough,so the hospital should further improve the medical information disclosure content.3.The overall satisfaction of the investigated patients with the hosp ital's medical information is affected by many factors.The more comprehensive and specialized hospitals have in hospital profile,hospital credit,medical service information,medical quality and safety information,ho spital financial information and medical costs,the higher the overall sati sfaction of patients with the disclosure of medical information.
