| Objective: Clinical studies have confirmed that liraglutide have cardiovascular protective effects on patients with type 2 diabetes(T2DM),and enhanced oxidative stress and inflammatory response play roles in chronic complications of diabetes.This study intended to observe the changes of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs CRP)and urine 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine(8-OHd G)in patients with T2 DM before and after treatment with liraglutide,and to investigate the effects of liraglutide on inflammatory response and oxidative stress.Methods: A total of 22 patients with T2 DM who were admitted to the department of Endocrinology,the second hospital of he bei medical university from January to September 2019 for treatment with metformin combined with another oral hypoglycemic drug(except GLP-1R agonist and DPP4 inhibitors)and had poor blood glucose control were selected.On the basis of metformin,plus with liraglutide 1.2 or 1.8 mg,Hi once a day,12 weeks of treatment,to observe the changes of the body mass index(BMI),blood pressure,fasting blood glucose(FBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1c),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),uric acid(UA),renal and liver function index,and serum hs CRP and urine 8-OHd G.Results:1.After treatment with liraglutide,BMI,HOMA-IR,FBG,Hb Alc,TG,TC,LDL-C and UA were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.01).There was no significant changes in systolic and diastolic blood pressure,HDL-C,liver function and kidney function(P>0.05);2.After treatment with liraglutide,serum hs CRP and urin 8-OHd G were significantly decreased compared with that before treatment(P<0.01).Conclusions: In addition to the effects of lowering glucose,lipid and weight,liraglutide can improve insulin resistance,reduce inflammatory response in the organisms,and has the effect of antioxidant stress on patients with T2 DM. |
