ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of Tuina in treating hypertension.MethodBy using the computer electronic retrieval method, the RCT of massage treatment in recent years(2014-2019)at home and abroad was comprehensively searched. After literature screening and statistical data, the data table included in the study was made.Aft er the bias risk assessment in Cochrane Handbook 5.1 and the improved Jadad scale were used to evaluate the literature quality, the information in the data table was imported into Revman 5.3 software for Meta-analysis.Among them, for the advantage ratio of the efficacy of the two classification data, the mean of continuous data was poor, and 95%confidence interval was used for both data. Before the analysis, the heterogeneity test should be carried out on the imported data. When I~2?30%,the research can be considered as homogeneity;when 30%<I~2<50%,the heterogeneity can be accepted;when I~2?50%,the heterogeneity is too large,so subgroup analysis or sensitivity analysis should be carried out to further analyze the source of heterogeneity.ResultA total of 10 articles were included, including 1 in English and 9 in Chinese.784 patients with hypertension were included in the study. The age span was large, and the proportion of women was slightly higher than that of men.According to the Cochrane Handbook standard, there were 9 articles with moderate bias risk and 1 article with high bias risk in the included literature;according to the Jadad scale standard, there was 1 article with low quality and the other 9 articles with high quality, which had analytical value.According to the combination of meta analysis and qualitative analysis, massage therapy can not only effectively help hypertension patients to control blood pressure, but also reduce the physical and mental burden caused by subjective symptoms, and further improve the quality of life.Conclusion(1)Compared with the conventional antihypertensive drugs or diet exercise intervention therapy, the treatment of hypertension with massage therapy has a more significant therapeutic effect, and at the same time,it has a more obvious improvement and improvement on the TCM syndromes and quality of life of the patients. Therefore,it is suggest ed to promote massage therapy as a routine therapy of hypertension in clinical practice.(2)The treatment of hypertension with massage is a safe,non-toxic and side-effect therapy. The safety of clinical practice can be guaranteed.
