Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and improvement of patients' quality of life in treating sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease(SPID)by warming yang and dissipating damp-heat and blood stasis method which is based on the three-discrimination mode of "differentiation disease-syndrome-potential",using the randomized,parallel-group,positive drug controlled clinical trail. To provide evidence-based evidence for the clinical promotion of this therapy and the three-discrimination mode of "differentiation disease-syndrome-potential".Method88 patients were selected, meeting the inclusion criteria for SPID of damp heat and blood stasis syndrome, and were divided into observation group and control group at random, with 44 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with the method of warming yang and dissipating damp-heat and blood stasis, while the control group was treated with the method of clearing heat, dehumidifying, removing blood stasis and relieving pain.12 days is a course of treatment, and all cases are treated for 3courses,withdrawal during menstruation. The changes of TCM symptom and sign, local signs,VAS for pain,WHOQOL-BREF of the patients before and after treatment, and the relapse of lower abdomen and lumbosacral pain after withdrawal for3 months were observed in the two groups of patients.Then,SPSS22.0 statistical software was used to analyze the collected clinical data.Result1.Before and after treatment, there were significant differences in TCM symptom and sign score, local signs score, comprehensive score, and VAS for pain(P<0.001)both of the two groups, indicating that both of the two therapy had significant effect on treating SPID of damp heat and blood stasis syndrome.2.Comparing the WHOQOL-BREF before and after treatment both of the two groups, the observation group showed significant differences in the four fields of physiology, psychology, social relationship and environment(P<0.05).In the control group, there was significant difference in physiological field before and after treatment(P<0.05),but no significant difference in psychological field, social relationship field and environmental field(P>0.05).The results showed that the quality of life of patients in the observation group was improved and better than that in the control group.3.After treatment, there were significant differences in TCM symptom and sign score, local signs score, comprehensive score, and VAS for pain between the two groups(P<0.05),and indicating that the observation group had better curative effect in improving symptoms, signs and alleviating pain than the control group.4.The cured and markedly effective cases were followed up after withdrawal for3 months.Zero of the 4 patients in the observation group had a relapse, with a recurrence rate of 0.0%,and 2 of the 3 patients in the control group had a recurrence, with a recurrence rate of 67.7%.The recurrence rate in the observation group was meaningfully lower than the control group, but there was no statistically significant difference after Chi-square test(P>0.05),therefore the recurrence rate of the two treatments could not be considered to be different yet. Conclusion The method of warming yang and dissipating damp-heat and blood stasis represented by Wuling Powder combined with Sini Powder and the method of clearing heat, dehumidifying, removing blood stasis and relieving pain represented by Sini Powder combined with Simiao Powder can effectively improve the symptoms and signs of patients with SPID of damp heat and blood stasis syndrome, and the former is more effective than the latter.Warming yang and dissipating damp-heat and blood stasis can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with SPID of damp heat and blood stasis syndrome.
