Objective:To study the expression of lung resistance protein(LRP)and p16 protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and their correlation with clinicopathological features. Methods: The expression of LRP and p16 protein in 44 cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and 20 cases of normal esophageal mucosa were detected by immunohistochemistry SP method. And through SPSS23.0 statistical software for data statistics, with ? = 0.05 as the test leve,P<0.05 has statistical significance.Results:1.The positive expression rate of LRP protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma was 54.54%(24/44),which was higher than that of normal esophageal mucosa tissue 35%(7/20),but there was no significant difference between them(P > 0.05).There was no significant correlation between LRP expression and gender, age, tumor size, gross morphology, degree of differentiation, depth of invasion, clinical stage and lymphnode metastasis(P > 0.05);2.The positive expression rate of P16 protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma was 56.82%(25/44),which was lower than that of normal esophageal mucosa tissue 65%(13/20),but there was no significant difference between them(P> 0.05).There was no significant correlation between P16 protein expression and gender, age, tumor size, gross morphology, degree of differentiation, depth of invasion, clinical stage and lymphnode metastasis(P> 0.05);3.Spearman correlation analysis was performed on the positive expression of LRP and P16 in 44 cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and the results showed that there was no significant correlation between the expression of LRP and P16(P> 0.05).Conclusions:1.The positive expression of LRP protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma is higher than that of normal esophageal mucosa tissue, suggesting that the high-expression of LRP protein may be related to the occurrence of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma;2.The positive expression of P16 protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma is lower than that of normal esophageal mucosa tissue, suggesting that the low-expression of P16 protein may be related to the occurrence of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma;3.There was no significant correlation between the positive expression of LRP and P16 protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
