| Objective:Most patients with malignant obstructive jaundice are dif ficult to undergo radical surgery when they visit the clinic for their earl y symptoms are not obvious and the disease progresses rapidly.PTCD c ombine with biliary stent implantation can effictively alleviate the obstru ction of biliary tract,but continuous proliferation of tumor cells will ca use obstruction recurrence in the biliary stent.According to many clinic al studies,125Ⅰ seeds combined with biliary stent placement can effective ly extend the stent patency time and patients survival time.Thus,we c ompare the particles combined stent implantation with the single stent i mplantation to verify its clinical feasibility and effectiveness.Methods:We screened and grouped patients with malignant obstruc tive jaundice in the Radiology Department at the Fourth Hospital of He bei Medical University from April 2018 to October 2018.We performed 125Ⅰ seeds combined with biliary stent implantation for 26 of 50 patient s,called experimental group;the rest of 24 patients underwent single bi liary stent implantation,called contrast group.We recorded the total bilir ubin and direct bilirubin indicators of all patients and analyzed the data to evaluate the effect of reducing jaundice.We required patients to com e to the hospital for cholecystography,CT or MRI etc.in order to kno w the situation about stent patency and position of particles,and record the survival time,stent opening time,and postoperative complications f or all patients.With all this,we analyzed the differences between the t wo groups based on the statistical results.Results:All sugerise were successful in both two groups.The two t reatments have a significant effect on the reduction of the disease in pa tients with malignant obstructive jaundice in the short-term.We compar ed the data between the two groups then found there was no significant difference in the recent effect of the two methods on the reduction of jaundice,but there were significant differences in the degree of long-ter m jaundice recurrence between the two groups.125Ⅰseeds combined wit h biliary stent implantation have longer stent opening time and patient s urvival time than single biliary stent implantation.Conclusions:125Ⅰ seeds combined with biliary stent implantation is a safe and effective treatment for malignant obstructive jaundice,but the re are still a lot of problem that need further study. |
