Clinical Research Of Acupoint Embedding In Treatment Of Hypertension With Syndrome Of Liver-fire Flaming-up

Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of acupoint embedding combined with western medicine to treat patients of syndrome of liver-fire flaming-up with Essential Hypertension(EH).Methods:A total of 66 patients of syndrome of liver-fire flaming-up with hypertension were selected.According to the principle of randomization,33 cases in each group were divided into western medicine group and combination group.The medicine group took amlodipine besylate.On the basis of medicine group,acupoint embedding therapy was added in combination group every 20 days and in two sessions.Observe the two groups before and after treatment in patients with blood pressure,plasma endothelin,integral of TCM syndrome.Then take data processing and statistical analysis.Results:1.Total efficiency:the overall effective rate of the combination group was 90%,and the medicine group was 76.67%.Both were effective but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.Depressurization effect:both were effective,however,there was no significant difference in systolic blood pressure between groups(P> 0.05).The difference in diastolic blood pressure between the groups was statistically significant(P <0.05),and the combination group was better.3.Plasma endothelin: the levels in two groups were lower than before(P <0.05).Differences between groups were statistically significant(P <0.05).The combination group was better.4.Integral of TCM syndrome: both groups were better than before(P<0.05),and multiple symptoms / signs points were lower than before.The points of dizziness,headache,tinnitus and red complexion were no significant difference(P>0.05).Except for palpitations,insomnia,tinnitus,constipation and yellow urine,the differences between the groups after treatment were statistically significant.Combination group was better than medicine group in many projects.Conclusion:1.The total efficiency was equal between the two groups but it was better after adding acupoint embedding therapy in the degree of diastolic pressure's dropping and the effect of blood pressure control.2.After treatment,plasma endothelin decreased in both groups but combinationgroup was much better.3.Both groups were effective on the improvement of TCM syndrome and combination group was better in many projects.
