| Objective:To collect the clinical data of traditional Chinese and western medicine related to patients with colorectal polyps, conduct data collation and statistical analysis, and study the clinical manifestations, colonoscopy results, pathological distribution characteristics, and distribution patterns of TCM syndromes of colorectal polyps for the prevention and treatment of colorectal polyps.Provide reference for diagnosis and treatment.Research methods: Collect data on patients inpatients in the University Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2019 to February 2020.Collect detailed information such as Western medicine clinical data and four traditional Chinese medicine data, and select 214 eligible patients for investigation.Consult the literature and seek expert opinions to develop a survey form for patients with colorectal polyps(see appendix)and complete the data collection based on the collected data. After summarizing and summarizing the database, apply statistical analysis software SPSS22.0 to analyze the age, gender, and eating habits of patients with colorectal polyps.,Endoscopic manifestations, pathological types, clinical symptoms,TCM syndromes, etc.,P <0.05 indicates that the difference is statistically significant.result:1.In this survey,128 patients with colorectal polyps were male, accounting for59.81%,and 86 were female, accounting for 40.19%.The ratio of male to female was1.49: 1.The age range of onset is 18 to 84 years. The average age was(54.36 ± 13.50)years,and the high incidence age of large intestinal polyps was 50 to 59 years. The dietary habits from high to low are described as follows: 64 cases of light diet,63 cases of fat and thick taste,59 cases of spicy diet,15 cases of cold diet, and 13 others.2.The best place for colorectal polyps is the sigmoid colon, followed by the rectum, transverse colon, ascending colon, descending colon, and ileocecal area.Polyps mostly exist in <0.5cm,followed by 0.5-1cm polyps, and polyps> 1cm are the rarest. The number was mainly multiple, with 145 cases of polyp and 69 cases of single. The ratio of multiple to single was 2.01: 1.3.The pathological distribution of colorectal polyps is mainly adenoma-type polyps(117 cases),of which tubular adenomas(92 cases)are the most common.Others are inflammatory polyps(61 cases)and proliferative polyps(36 cases)in order of size.,Tubular villous polyps(20 cases),villous adenomas accounted for the fewest(5cases).Pathological classification is related to age.4.The most common symptoms of colorectal polyps are abdominal pain, followed by diarrhea and bloating, unformed stools, constipation, blood in the stool, mucus, anal bulging, and irregular bowel movements.Another 20 patients(9.3%)had no significant discomfort.5.TCM syndromes of colorectal polyps: mainly red tongue, yellow greasy fur, white greasy fur, slippery number, and string slippery pulse.6.Types of TCM syndromes of colorectal polyps are the most common type of intestinal damp heat syndrome, followed by spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome, liver stagnation and qi stagnation syndrome, blood stasis syndrome, cold dampness syndrome. There is no correlation between TCM syndromes of colorectal polyps and gender, and there is a certain correlation with age, diet and pathological types.Inflammatory polyps are mainly intestinal damp-heat syndrome, and tubular adenomas are mainly spleen-deficiency syndrome.Spicy diet is based on intestinal damp-heat syndrome.Intestinal damp heat syndrome is more common in the middle-aged group, and spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome is more common in the elderly group. Conclusion:The sex of patients with colorectal polyps is mainly male.Large intestine polyps occur at the age of 50 to 59 years.2.Large intestinal polyps occur in the sigmoid colon and rectum, and the ileocele is the least. The size of polyps is mainly <0.5cm,and the number is mostly multiple.3.The pathological types of colorectal polyps are more common in adenomatous polyps and inflammatory polyps. The pathological types are related to age.4.Types of TCM syndromes of large intestinal polyps can be divided into 5 types, the most common are intestinal dampness and heat syndrome, followed by spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome, liver stagnation and qi stagnation syndrome, blood stasis syndrome, and cold dampness syndrome.5.There is no correlation between TCM syndromes of colorectal polyps and gender, and there is a certain correlation with age, diet and pathological types. |
