| Objectives:To observe the clinical efficacy of Bahu granule in the treatment of chronic non-bacterial prostatitis with syndrome of Damp-heat and Blood Stasis, and to study the effect of cytokines IL-10 and IL-17 in the expressed prostatic secretions(EPS)and its mechanism. Methods:According to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria on the basis of the traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine,72 cases of chronic non-bacterial prostatitis patients with syndrome of Damp-heat and Blood Stasis who visited the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM were selected and divided into experimental group(Bahu Granules group)and control group(Qianlieshutong Capsule group)by using the random number table method. The patients in the experimental group were treated with Bahu granules,15 g each time, three times a day;The control group was treated with Qianlieshutong capsule,1.2g each time, three times a day.The treatment cycle was 4 weeks. Two groups of patients were visited before and after treatment to evaluate and record the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score and the National Institutes of Health chronic prostatitis symptom index(NIH-CPSI)score,and to measure the contents of Interleukin-10(IL-10),Interleukin-17(IL-17),White blood cells(WBC)and Lecithin body(Lec)in EPS in the laboratory.Observe whether adverse reactions occurred during the experiment. After collecting the test data, statistical software was used for analysis.Results:1.Both groups could improve the NIH-CPSI score and TCM syndrome score of patients, increase the IL-10 content in EPS and reduce the IL-17 content in EPS,and the experimental group was better than the control group, with statistically significant difference(P < 0.05).2.The leucocyte and lecithin body counts in EPS were not significantly improved in the two groups, and the difference was not statistically significant(P >,0.05).3.In the experimental group,9 cases(25.00%)were cured,17 cases(47.22%)were significantly effective,7 cases(19.44%)were effective, and 3 cases(8.33%)were ineffective, with the effective rate of 91.66%.In the control group,5 cases(13.89%)were cured,12 cases(33.33%)were effective,12 cases(33.33%)were effective, and 7cases(19.44%)were ineffective, with an effective rate of 80.56%.The clinical efficacy of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusions:The clinical efficacy of Bahu granules in the treatment of chronic non-bacterial prostatitis with syndrome of Damp-heat and Blood Stasis is accurate.Bahu granules can significantly improve patients with NIH-CPSI score and TCM syndrome integral, increase the content of cytokine il-10 in EPS,and reduce the content of cytokine il-17 in EPS.It can be a good choice for clinical treatment of chronic non-bacterial prostatitis. |
