Eye Survey And Analysis Of Etiology Of Traditional Chinese Medicine In Plateau Area

Objective This paper investigated the eye conditions of workers in the plateau area and the general population in the plain area to understand the multiple symptoms and signs of the eye,discussed the relationship between eye habits,climatic environment and related symptoms and signs,and analyzed the main influencing factors for the occurrence of related eye discomfort.This survey helps the staff in the plateau area to understand their own eye conditions and analyze the etiology of their eyes in traditional Chinese medicine,so as to facilitate the early intervention of traditional Chinese medicine for the staff in the plateau area,provide guidance for a healthy lifestyle,and avoid eye diseases caused by the environment and eye habits.Methods Ophthalmic examination and eye condition questionnaire were carried out by ophthalmologists in the plateau area.A questionnaire survey was conducted in the plains.The questionnaire was designed by the physicians of our hospital by referring to the similar epidemiological literature and combining with the understanding of the local people's living habits.SPSS.25.0 statistical software was used to analyze all data and calculate P value and chi-square value.Finally,Logistic regression analysis was performed.Results?.High altitude1.The proportion of eye symptoms in the plateau area was as follows: eye dryness and discomfort,eye fatigue,vision decline,and tears.The proportion of ocular signs in the plateau area was: meibomian gland obstruction,venous tortuous,enhanced arterial reflection and pterygium.2.Analysis of T test results: women are more likely to have photophobia and foreign body sensation,and men have more significant enhancement of venous tortuosity and arterial reflection.Indoor workers are more likely to have photophobia,tears,foreign body in the sense,visual fatigue,dry discomfort,tingling,swelling pain,meibomian gland obstruction,artery thinning,arteriovenous ratio 1:3.Outdoor workers are more likely to have vision loss.3.Factors significantly associated with ocular signs and symptoms(P < 0.05):age had a significant effect on foreign body sensation,stabbing pain,dull pain,meibomian gland obstruction,enhanced arterial reflection,arterial thinning,and arteriovenous ratio 1:3.The use time of electronic products was significantly correlated with visual fatigue,dryness and discomfort,tingling,vision loss,meibomian gland obstruction,venous tortuosity,enhanced arterial reflection,arterial thinning,and arteriovenous ratio 1:3.Sedentary time was significantly associated with photophobia,foreign body sensation,visual fatigue,visual impairment,tingling,meibomian gland obstruction,venous tortuosity,enhanced arterial reflection,arterial thinning,and arteriovenous ratio 1:3.Blood pressure was significantly correlated with tearing,foreign body sensation,tingling,meibomian gland obstruction,venous tortuosity,enhanced arterial reflection,arterial thinning,and arteriovenous ratio 1:3.?.Plain area The incidence of ocular symptoms and multiple response sets in plain areas ranged from high to low: visual fatigue,myopia,dryness and discomfort.Women are more likely to experience dryness and discomfort than men.Factors significantly associated with ocular symptoms(P < 0.05): age was significantly correlated with myopia and vision loss.The use time of electronic products was significantly correlated with myopia,tearing,foreign body sensation,visual fatigue,swelling pain,stinging pain,dull pain and itching.Sedentary time was significantly associated with myopia,visual fatigue,dryness,and itching.Conclusion Affected by the plateau climate,people in the plateau area are prone to meibomian gland obstruction,venous tortuosity,enhanced arterial reflection,arterial thinning,pterygium and other signs.Eye symptom is more obvious in plain area than in plateau area.There was a significant correlation between eye symptoms and working environment,eye habits,age and other factors(P < 0.05).
