Objective: To observe the dynamic adaptive changes of plain brain in normal adults after migrated to high altitude area by fMRI technology,and to explore preliminarily the mechanism of brain adaptive changes in high altitude and hypoxic environment.Methods: Select first entering high altitude 40 gender who had sex,age,education years,and altitude at the same height of the original residence area,the brain were scanned by resting state fMRI,as control group,receiving the same scan after living one year and two years,as the experimental group.Based on Voxel-based Morpho-metry(VBM)technology,Amplitude of Low Frequency Fluctuation(ALFF)and Regional Homogeneity(ReHo)method,to processed and analyzed the whole brain data scanned.Results: The brain structure of normal adults in plain areas showed no significant changes before and after 1 year and 2 years before moving to high altitude areas.comparative analysis brain function before and after 1 years and 2 years found that: 1 years after the ALFF value to brain regions had increased: Frontal_Sup_L,Angular_L,Insula_L Frontal_Mid_L,the value of ALFF to brain regions had decrease Lingual_R;ReHo increased Insula_L,Frontal_Mid_Orb_L,ReHo value decreased with the Precuneus_L Parietal_Sup_R.2 years after the move,the ALFF value increased in brain regions of brain areas except 1 years areas also have,Cingulate_Ant_L;the ReHo value increased in brain areas except 1 years also have Parietal_Inf_L,the ReHo value decreased brain areas except 1 years after the change Fusiform_R.There was significant difference in ALFF value(P < 0.01)and ReHo value(P < 0.05)of the increased or reduced value(P < 0.05)compared with the control group.Conclusion: The normal adult plain living at high altitude for 1 years,2 years later,resting state brain structure have no changed obviously,May be related to short residence time and height restrictions but also shows that brain structure is not easy change,brain areas of brain function have obvious changes,these changes in brain area may adapt to high altitude hypoxia environment have a certain relationship.
