Objectives The safety and efficacy of the two surgical methods were comprehensively analyzed and compared using plasma cylindrical electrode and traditional method for bladder mass resection, and the advantages, disadvantages and clinical efficacy of the above two surgical methods for the treatment of non-muscular invasive bladder cancer were explored. Methods A total of 80 patients with non-muscular invasive bladder tumor collected from the affiliated hospital of north China university of science and technology in the past 2 years were selected.According to different surgical methods, they were divided into TURBT group for traditional surgical resection and ERBT group for transurethral mass resection of bladder tumor, with 40 cases in each group.During the operation,0.9% Nacl was used as the flushing solution, and the basic data of each group, operation duration, total amount of the flushing solution consumed, intraoperative blood loss, indwelling catheter time, length of stay, qualified rate of pathological specimens(whether there is muscle tissue),and the number of cases of recurrence during the 3-month follow-up were recorded. The above data were statistically processed to compare and analyze the safety and efficacy of the two devices in removing bladder tumors. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the preoperative clinical data between the ERBT group and TURBT group.Patients in the two groups completed the operation successfully without any cases of blood transfusion.Although the length of hospitalization and indwelling time of urinals in ERBT group were shorter than that of TURBT group, the differences were not statistically significant. In terms of intraoperative obturator nerve reflex rate, intraoperative blood loss, dosage of lavage fluid, postoperative pathological qualification rate, and tumor recurrence rate after 3 months,ERBT group was better than TURBT group(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions 1 TURBT and ERBT are safe and effective surgical methods for treating NMIBC.There is no advantage or disadvantage in terms of postoperative complications.2 Compared with traditional electrical resection of bladder tumor, columnar electrode resection of bladder tumor can reduce the amount of intraoperative blood loss, and ERBT has less chance to trigger obturator nerve reflex.3 Transurethral vesical tumor enucleation has a higher percentage of muscle layer in pathological specimens, which makes the staging more accurate, and the recurrence rate at 3 months is lower than that of traditional operation.Figure10;Table3;Reference 197...
