| Objectives To analyze the difference between coronary artery tortuosity and non-tortuosity coronary artery stenosis in patients with anterior descending branch myocardial bridge, and to further analyze the correlation between the degree of tortuosity and the stenosis of coronary artery. Methods Retrospective analysis was discovered on patients admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of North China University of Science and Technology from October 2015 to December 2018,and patients with myocardial bridge in the left anterior descending coronary artery by computed tomography coronary angiography.Among them,278 patients with no tortuous coronary artery in the anterior descending branch were selected as the control group, and 278 patients with tortuous coronary artery were selected as the experimental group. The clinical data of age, gender, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, smoking history and family history of these patients were recorded. The post-processing technique of CT coronary angiography was used to measure, observe and record the tortuosity of patients with anterior descending branch myocardial bridge, the tortuosity degree of patients with tortuosity(no,light, medium and heavy),the occurrence of stenosis of anterior descending branch and the degree of stenosis of corresponding sites. The clinical data of patients with anterior descending myocardial bridge with or without tortuous coronary artery were analyzed for statistical difference, and then the differences in the incidence and degree of stenosis of patients with or without tortuous coronary artery were further compared. The clinical data of patients with anterior descending myocardial bridge with different degrees of coronary artery tortuosity were compared, and then the incidence of stenosis and the correlation of degree of stenosis with different degrees of coronary artery tortuosity were further compared. Results The incidence of coronary artery stenosis in the non-tortuous group was lower than in the tortuous group(57.6%vs71.9%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=12.608,P<0.001).The incidence of coronary artery stenosis in mild tortuosity group was higher than that in non-tortuosity group(78.5%vs57.6%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=20.462,P<0.001).The incidence of coronary artery stenosis in mild tortuosity group was higher than that in moderate tortuosity group(78.5%vs61.5%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=7.872,P=0.005).The stenosis degree of the coronary tortuosity group was significantly different from that of the non-tortuosity group, and the tortuosity group was more tolerant than the non-tortuosity group More severe stenosis(Z=-3.292,P=0.001).The stenosis degree of the group with no,mild, moderate and severe tortuous coronary arteries were different, the differences were statistically significant(H=17.787,P<0.001).Not statistical significance was found among the incidence of stenosis in the non-tortuosity,the moderate and the severe tortuosity group(P>0.05).Among the incidence of stenosis in the mild, the moderate and the severe coronary artery tortuosity group had no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusions Coronary artery tortuosity in patients with myocardial bridge of the left anterior descending coronary artery is more likely to cause lumen stenosis than those without tortuosity;Patients in myocardial bridge of the left anterior descending coronary artery with mild coronary tortuosity are more likely to have lumen stenosis than those without or moderate tortuosity;Patients with mild tortuous coronary artery in myocardial bridge of the left anterior descending coronary artery are more likely to have severe stenosis, while those without tortuous coronary artery are more likely to have mild stenosis.Figure 2;Table 8;Reference 132... |
