Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of side opening push injector combined temperature cement injection technique in the prevention of bone cement leakage in percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP)treatmentMethods:Between January 2016 and February 2018,80 patients of osteoporosis vertebral fracture by PKP,were recruited in the study.Among them,42 cases(observation group)were treated with side opening bone cement push injector combined with low temperature cement injection technique;and 38 cases(control group)were treated with conventional bone cement injection technique; There was no significant difference in age, gender, weight, complication, lesions in the segments, between the two groups(P>0.05).Collect the time of operation, hospital stays, amount of blooding, amount of bone cement injected and bone cement leakage. The kyphosis Cobb angle of surgical area,VAS scores and the Oswestry disability index were measured and analyzed at preoperation,1 day after operation and last follow-up.Result:No significant difference was found in operate time, hospital stays, amount of blooding, amount of bone cement injected between 2 groups(P>0.05).Compared with preoperative, there were significant difference in VAS scores, the Oswestry disability index and the kyphosis Cobb angle at 1 day after operation and last follow-up in 2 groups(P<0.05);but,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).There was 1 case of bone cement leakage in the observation group, there were 7 cases of bone cement leakage in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but no clinical symptoms. Conclusion:The side opening bone cement push injector combined with low temperature cement injection technique can not only relief patients’ back pain quickly, improve the quality of life, and achieve satisfactory curative effect, but also reduce the incidence of bone cement leakage, which is worthy of attention in clinical practice.
