ObjectiveBy investigating the status and influencing factors of cancer-related fatigue in breast cancer chemotherapy patients undergoing chemotherapy, analyzing the correlation between perception control,self-management behavior and cancer-related fatigue, the action path of perception control,self-management behavior on cancer-related fatigue is explored. From the perspective of positive psychology, try to improve the self-management and control efficiency of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, reduce their negative cancer experience. In conclusion, theoretical references for promoting cancer-related fatigue is suggested.MethodsBy way of convenience sampling,337 breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy were selected from a hospital ranking the best ones in Shangdong Province as the subjects of study during the period Feb,2019 and Jul,2019,to whom the general data questionnaire, cancer experience and efficiency scale, cancer patients' self-management evaluation scale and Piper Fatigue Scale were distributed to look into the general demographic situation, perception control,self-management behavior and cancer-related fatigue of breast cancer patients experiencing chemotherapy. And the softwares SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 23.0 were used for statistical analysis.SPSS 22.0 was used to describe the frequency and percentage of general data;means ± standard deviation was adopted to delineate the scores of perception control,self-management,cancer-related fatigue of the breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and those of all dimensions;One-way variance method and independent-samples T-test were employed to check and compare the difference of cancer-related fatigue scores among the variables of general data;Pearson correlation analysis was applied to analyze the correlation between perception control,self-management and cancer-related fatigue;multivariate linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of cancer-related fatigue in breast cancer chemotherapy patients. Finally, the data was put into the research hypothesis model, and Amos software is put to use to verify the model and analyze its path.Results1.The average scores of cancer experience and operation efficacy in perception control was 57.10 ± 4.99 and 46.13 ± 4.43 respectively. The average score of each dimension of cancer experience from the highest to the lowest were social experience(3.59±0.40)?personal experience(3.56±0.45),emotion experience(3.55±0.42).And the scores of parts of the dimensions of control efficacy from the highest to the lowest were medical care efficiency(3.72±0.46),collective efficiency(3.69±0.40),personal efficiency(3.30±0.49).2.The total self-management score of cancer patients with breast cancer chemotherapy patients was 151.45 ± 5.34.Among all the dimensions, the highest score is the dimension of communication with medical care(3.79±0.54),followed by symptom management(3.61 ± 0.41),information management(3.60 ± 0.54),self-efficacy(3.45 ±0.36),emotional management(3.35±0.37),and daily life management(3.24±0.34).3.The score of cancer-related fatigue among these patients was 5.14 ± 1.10,which belonged to moderate fatigue. From high to low,the fatigue degree of each dimension is behavior/severity dimension(6.00 ± 1.14),feeling dimension(5.38 ± 1.29),emotional dimension(4.65±1.41)and cognitive/mood dimension(4.54±1.25).4.The results of correlated analysis implied that there was a significant positive correlation between cancer experience and cancer-related fatigue(r = 0.480,P < 0.001),a significant negative correlation between control efficiency and cancer-related fatigue(r =-0.515,P < 0.001),a significant negative correlation between self-management and cancer-related fatigue(r =-0.539,P < 0.001),a negative correlation between cancer experience and self-management(r =-0.265,P < 0.001).A positive correlation existed between control efficiency and self-management(r = 0.334,P < 0.001)5.The multiple regression analysis of cancer-related fatigue demonstrated that the source of medical expenses, chemotherapy cycle, cancer experience, control efficiency and self-management could account for 53.9% of the total variation of scores in those aforementioned patients.(F = 44.594,P < 0.001).6.Path analysis hinted that cancer experience had a direct positive impact on cancer-related fatigue(? = 0.390,P < 0.001),and control efficiency had a direct negative effect on cancer-related fatigue(? =-0.481,P < 0.001);self-management played a part of negative mediating effect in the influence of cancer experience on cancer-related fatigue, and the mediating effect value accounted for 12.4% of the total effect;self-management played a part of positive mediating effect in the influence of control efficiency on cancer-related fatigue, and the mediating effect value accounted for 14.4% of the total effect.ConclusionCancer-related fatigue is common in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, and they are in moderate fatigue.Cancer experience in perception control is positively correlated with cancer-related fatigue, while control efficiency is negatively correlated with cancer-related fatigue.Perception control can directly affect cancer-related fatigue, and self-management plays a part of mediating role in the perception control and cancer-related fatigue of these patients.Nursing staff can improve the self-management level and control efficiency of breast cancer chemotherapy patients, reduce their cancer negative experience, and can significantly reduce cancer-related fatigue of patients.
