Effect Of Application Of Methylprednisolone In Cesarean Section On Blood Glucose Of Pregnant Women

Objective:To investigate the effect of methylprednisolone on the blood glucose of pregnant women during cesarean section,and to provide a reference for the clinical use of methylprednisolone in pregnant women.Methods:Sixty-five pregnant women undergoing elective cesarean section under combined spinal and epidural anesthesia were selected and divided into experimental group and control group according to the type of glucocorticoid given during the operation,including 35 experimental groups and 30 control groups.In the experimental group,40mg methylprednisolone was intravenously administered,and in the control group,8 mg dexamethasone was intravenously administered.Observe and record the two groups of pregnant women entering the room?T₀?,1h?T₁?after administration,2h?T₂?,6h?T₃?after administration,and fingertip blood glucose 24h?T₄?after administration.Patients were observed for adverse symptoms such as nausea and vomiting and skin itching 24 hours after surgery.Results:The fingertip blood glucose at T₀ and T₄ in the experimental group was not significantly different from the control group;the fingertip blood glucose at T₁,T₂,and T₃was significantly lower in the experimental group than in the control group?P<0.05?;T₀and T₄ blood glucose were not significantly different in the experimental group,T₁,T₂,and T₃ blood glucose were all higher than T₀?P<0.05?;T₀ and T₄ blood glucose were not significantly different in the control group,T₁,T₂,and T₃ blood glucose were higher than T₀?P<0.05?;in adverse symptoms such as nausea,vomiting and skin itching at 24hours,there was no significant difference.Conclusion:40mg methylprednisolone was used in pregnant women for cesarean section,and the blood glucose increased after 1 hour of administration,and the blood glucose reached the normal value before anaesthesia after 24 hours.Compared with 8mg dexamethasone,it did not significantly increase blood sugar,and there was no increase in adverse symptoms such as nausea,vomiting and skin itching.
