Difference Between Nasal Respiratory Epithelial Adenoma-like Hamartoma And Nasal Polyps In Coronary Sinus CT

Objective: Analyze the sinus coronal CT of patients with nasal respiratory epithelial adenoma-like hamartoma(REAH)and nasal polyps(NPS)to explore the differences.Method: From January 2016 to December 2019,22 patients were treated in the rhinology department of Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University and the postoperative pathology was confirmed to be REAH.22 patients were selected as the REAH group;the same period of hospitalization was performed for the entire group of open sinus surgery 238 patients who had not undergone hormonal shock before and whose nasal polyps were confirmed by postoperative pathology were included in the NPS-a group.Patients who underwent open ethmoid sinus surgery during the same period and whose lesions were located in the ethmoid sinus without hormone impact before surgery Sixteen patients with incomplete sinusitis and postoperative pathological diagnosis of nasal polyps were assigned to the NPS-b group.By measuring and comparing the width of the nasal sinus coronary lesions in the nasal sinuses and the total transverse diameter of the nasal cavity in patients with REH and NPS-a groups,the nasal sinus coronary CT of the patients in REAH and NPS-b groups was measured and compared.The area of the lesion side / total area of the nasal cavity on the side of the lesion was analyzed by statistics to find out the rules.Result: The width of the olfactory cleft on the lesion side and the width of the olfactory cleft on the lesion side / total lateral diameter of the nasal cavity on the lesion side were significantly higher in the REAH group than in the NPS-a group,with significant differences(P≤0.05).The lesion area / total area of the nasal cavity in the REAH group was significantly higher than that in the NPS-b group,and the difference was statistically significant(P ≤ 0.05).Conclusion: Coronary CT data of the sinuses are measured as REAH with preoperative diagnostic significance,and patients with nasal airway epithelial adenoma-like hamartoma and nasal polyps have significant differences in the imaging manifestations of sinus coronary CT.The width / total diameter of the nasal cavity on the lesion side ≥ 0. 41.5 is the reference basis for distinguishing between REAH and the entire group of nasal sinus polyps;the lesion area of the lesion side of the sinus coronary CT on the longest part of the middle turbinate / the total area of the nasal cavity on the lesion side ≥ 0.62 is the difference between REAH References for non-full group of nasal sinus polyps in which the diseased subject is located in the ethmoid sinus.
