| Objective: Annexin a11(ANXA11)is located on human chromosome 10q22-q23ANXA11 belongs to annexina family and is related to many diseases.There is no report on the expression of ANXA11 in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Therefore,to explore the expression of ANXA11 in NSCLC and the relationship between different clinicopathological features will lay a foundation for the development and mechanism of ANXA11 in NSCLC.Methods: A total of 115 patients with NSCLC who underwent segmental or lobar lung resection from June 2018 to June 2019 in the Department of Pathology,First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University were collected,including cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues.Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of ANXA11 in normal tissues and cancer tissues,and the positive expression of ANXA11 between the two groups was recorded.The expression of ANXA11 and the differentiation degree of corresponding cancer were recorded.Results: 1.The expression level of ANXA11 in NSCLC tissues was higher than that in adjacent normal tissues.The positive expression rate in cancer tissues was 75.6%(87 /115),while that in adjacent normal tissues was only 34.8%(40 / 115),the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).2.The relationship between the expression of ANXA11 in NSCLC and its clinicopathological features.2.1 the expression level of ANXA11 was related to the differentiation degree of NSCLC patients: the samples were divided into medium low differentiation group and high differentiation group,and the type of lung cancer was not differentiated.The positive expression rate of ANXA11 in high differentiation group was 59.4%(19 / 32),and that in medium low differentiation group was 81.9%(68 / 83),the difference was statistically significant(P = 0.0128);the staining degree of ANXA11 in high differentiation group of lung adenocarcinoma was lower than that in medium low differentiation group,the result was statistically significant(P < 0.05);the staining degree of ANXA11 in high differentiation group of lung squamous cell carcinoma was lower than that in medium low differentiation group,the result was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.2 the samples were grouped according to the TNM(stage I,II,III)results in clinical data.The results showed that the expression of ANXA11 was related to TNM stage of NSCLC patients.The expression rate of ANXA11 was 69.5%(57 / 82)in stage I-II and 90.9%(30 / 33)in stage III(P = 0.016).2.3 the samples were grouped according to whether there was lymph node metastasis.The statistical results showed that the expression level of ANXA11 was related to lymph node metastasis in NSCLC patients.The positive expression rates of ANXA11 in cancer tissues with lymph node metastasis and without lymph node metastasis were 90.3%(28 /31)and 70.2%(59 / 84),respectively,with statistical significance(P = 0.026).The results showed that the expression of ANXA11 was correlated with Ki67 proliferation index of NSCLC patients.The positive expression rate of ANXA11 in patients with Ki67 > 10%was 82.6%(57 / 69),and that in patients with Ki67 ≤ 10% was 65.2%(30 / 46).ANXA11 may be one of the tumor markers of lung cancer.There was no significant correlation between the expression of ANXA11 and the pathological type,tumor size,gender,age and smoking history of NSCLC patients.Conclusion: 1.The expression level of ANXA11 in NSCLC tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal tissues,suggesting that the occurrence of NSCLC may be related to the up regulation of ANXA11 gene.2.The expression of ANXA11 is related to the differentiation degree,TNM stage,lymph node metastasis and Ki67 expression of NSCLC.The expression of ANXA11 may induce malignant transformation,invasion and metastasis of tumor cells.3.ANXA11 is a cancer promoting factor in NSCLC. |
