Objective:The long-term effects of short-term spinal cord stimulation and dorsal root ganglion pulse radiofrequency on acute and subacute herpes zoster neuralgia were retrospectively analyzed. The advantages and advantages of the two treatments were investigated by retrospectively analyzing the effects of short-term spinal cord stimulation and dorsal root ganglion pulse radiofrequency on acute and subacute herpes zoster neuralgia Methods : The patients with acute and subacute herpes zoster neuralgia from December 2016 to October 2018 were selected to check the basic information of patients with acute and subacute herpes zoster neuralgia, and then divided into spinal cord electrical stimulation group(S)and pulse radiofrequency group(P)according to the different treatment methods, and then divided into four groups according to whether the age is over 65 years old,the patients were divided into low age group and high age group, pulse treatment low age group(P1),pulse treatment high age group(P2),electric stimulation treatment low age group(S1)and electric stimulation treatment high age group(S2).The patients were followed up by telephone to record their VAS scores up to 12 months after operation, adverse reactions and the need for pain medication Results: VAS scores were lower in each group in January,March,June and December after treatment than before treatment;in the lower age group, there was no significant difference in VAS scores between pulse therapy and electrical stimulation after operation;and in the higher age group, there was a statistically significant difference in the lower VAS scores in the postoperative June and 12 months(p<0.05),and the proportion of analgesic drug use in the electrical stimulation group was lower than that in the pulse radiofrequency group at 12 months.Conclusion:Short-term spinal cord electrical stimulation and dorsal root ganglion pulse radiofrequency can relieve acute and subacute herpes zoster neuralgia. For the elderly patients over 65 years of age, electrical stimulation is better than pulse radiofrequency.
