Objective(s): Shingles (herpes zoster, HZ) is mainly by the first infection after herpes lurking in the sensory ganglion (spinal ganglia and half ganglia) within the chickenpox, herpes virus (varicella - zoster virous,VZV) recovery, reproduction,sensory nerve damage and control of infectious skin disease. Herpes zoster skin heals,most patients will left a zonal distribution along the herpes area of refractory mental derangement rational pain - after herpes zoster neuralgia (PHN postherpticneuralgia),the mental derangement rational pain has the following characteristics: persistent pain,the longer the course of the disease to cure the greater the difficulties. Current medicine for herpes zoster neuralgia of the central nervous system after the pathogenesis is not yet clear, so is very difficult to cure for the pain, the analgesic effect of many drugs can't achieve the ideal and the recurrence rate is high. So this topic studies using Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging, fMRI) technology to observe the changes after herpes zoster pain area of the brain activity and low frequency amplitude (amplitude of low frequency fluctuation, ALFF) income related numerical analysis, through the contrast analysis of the results, observe changes after herpes zoster pain in patients with central nervous system, and the change of brain activity in patients with acute or chronic pain after herpes zoster, so as to deepen the understanding of the disease, in order to guide clinical treatment.Methods: Select the first affiliated hospital of kunming medical university line fitting function in patients with pain after herpes zoster pain nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) 20 cases, divided into 2 groups, A1 group of 10 people,the group suffered from herpes zoster and course in 3 months; There were 10 people in the A2 group,and the group also had shingles and the duration of the disease was more than 3 months. They also recruited 10 healthy volunteers, who were aged, height, weight,and education, to form the A3 group. Using functional magnetic resonance imaging techniques, observing the changes of brain activity subjects brain regions and by ALFF get relevant numerical analysis, the comparative analysis to the result.Conclusion(s): Through the study found that 1, after herpes zoster pain patients compared with unaffected patients, found that some brain regions after herpes zoster pain patients (on the left side of the cerebellum posterior lobe, left precuneus, left superior temporal gyrus, left prefrontal) activities significantly improved, ALFF numerical also increases accordingly, there are some brain regions (back in the right,the right side of the central front back, left cingulate gyrus) activity decreased significantly, the ALFF numerical also reduced accordingly. 2, through the study found that after the acute herpes zoster pain and chronic pain after herpes zoster patients compared to these brain regions (on the left side of the cerebellum posterior lobe, left precuneus, left superior temporal gyrus, left prefrontal) activity in chronic phase than in the acute phase enhanced more apparent, ALFF value also increased obviously, and these areas (back in the right, the right side of the central front back,left cingulate gyros) chronic brain activity than acute phase decreased more obvious,ALFF numerical also decreased obviously. Through the research results show that after herpes zoster pain in patients with obvious change in the central nervous system,but also observed after acute or chronic herpes zoster pain on the central nervous system also exists obvious difference, the influence of the above results to the treatment of acute or chronic pain after herpes zoster provides the theoretical basis,also provide theoretical support for the choice of treatment. The hope is that the study will speed up the treatment of the neuropathic neuropathic pain, relieve the pain and improve the quality of life.Conclusion(s): The pain of shingles is not only an invasion of peripheral nervous system, but also damage to the central nervous system. After herpes zoster, the activity of the brain region was significantly altered compared with the health recipients, and the change became more apparent as the duration of the disease increased.
