| Objective:To explore the clinical effectiveness of transcranial repeated acupuncture combined with deep acupuncture at Xiaguan acupoints in the treatment of primary trigeminal neuralgia.Methods:A total of 60 eligible primary trigeminal neuralgia subjects were included in this study.The two groups of subjects were divided into a treatment group(transcranial repeated acupuncture combined with deep acupuncture at Xiaguan acupoint)according to a random table method and a control group(conventional facial Acupuncture),30 cases in each group.In the treatment group,Baihui point and 2/5 of the contralateral sensory area were selected,and repeated transcranial stimulation was used,combined with deep puncture at Xiguan point.The control group selected routine facial acupuncture points and used routine manipulations.Once a day,continuous treatment for 1 month is a course of treatment.The frequency of pain episodes,visual analog scale(VAS)before and after treatment were recorded by counting method,and the therapeutic effect was evaluated.The plasmaβ-endorphin(β-endorphin,β-EP)content changes.Results:1.Total effective rate: The total effective rate of the treatment group was93.3%;the total effective rate of the control group was 76.7%;after statistical analysis,the total effective rate of the two groups was significantly different(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.2.Frequency of pain attacks: Compared with before treatment,the frequency of pain attacks in both groups was significantly reduced after treatment(P<0.05);after treatment,the effect of the treatment group was more significant(P<0.05).3.VAS score: The VAS score of the treatment group and the control group decreased after treatment,there was a significant difference(P<0.05);the VAS score of the treatment group after treatment was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).4.Plasma β-endorphin content: After treatment,the plasma β-endorphin content of the two groups was higher than before treatment,there was a significant difference(P <0.01),and the plasma β-EP content of the treatment group was higher than The control group had significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Repeated transcranial acupuncture combined with deep acupuncture at Xiaguan point can significantly reduce the frequency of pain attacks and the degree of pain in patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia.2.Repeated transcranial acupuncture can significantly increase the content of plasma β-endorphin in patients,and plasma β-endorphin is a neurotransmitter with analgesic effect,thereby achieving analgesic effect. |
