This is applied to justify the reliability and the superiority of the method mentioned above.Method 1.Chosen 60 patients of Primary trigeminal neuralgia from acupuncture department in wuhan hospital of traditional Chinese medicine. The 60 patients is divided into therapy group, conventional group and medicine group randomly.Each group contains 20 patients. Treatment methods treatment group: A.Is main point where xia guan point, ashi point,taichong double,hegu double;Qi thorn Xia guan point, after much air twisting and choose any two holes in a third point in 1 set of electric acupuncture, acupuncture point normal operation. B. routine group: in accordance with the "acupuncture therapy" [12] choose acupuncture point and the normal operation and 1 set of electric acupuncture treatment; C.drug groups: Physicians according to patients’ pain levels adjustment carbamazepine oral dose and daily oral dose of prescribed strictly, patient not to add and subtract oral dose at will. D. the treatment group and routine group add basic oral drugs at the same time, plan the same as the drug group. 2. acupuncture treatment: Treatment group and routine group with 30 minutes each time, 1 time/day, continuous treatment of 6 for one period of treatment; Rest 1 day between treatment, treatment of two period of treatment. 3. and were followed up at 3 months after treatment, every 1 months follow-up. Record each patient at each stage of CBZ dose, pain VAS score, seizure frequency and adverse reactions. And the observation indexes and clinical efficacy of do statistical analysis, draw the conclusion.Results After treatment:The control and treatment effect of the treatment group were better than that of the routine and the medicine group; Three groups of patients with oral carbamazepine tablets average doses, pain onset frequency reduce oral doses of the treatment group, pain onset frequency is less than the conventional group, drugs, the three comparison was statistically significant(P < 0.05);1 months follow-up, the treatment group and routine group of patients with oral carbamazepine tablets doses, the average drug group reduce is not obvious; The comparison group was statistically significant(P < 0.01); 2 months follow-up: treatment group in patients with oral carbamazepine tablets doses continue to reduce the average, normal patients increases slightly, the treatment group patients with carbamazepine oral doses than the conventional group of patients, drug group of patients is significantly upward trend is higher than the treatment group and routine group of patients, three groups compared with significant statistical significance(P < 0.01); 3 months of follow-up: the treatment group patients with oral carbamazepine tablets doses continue to reduce the average, while the control group patients increased significantly, drug group of patients have a significant upward trend, the comparison group has significant statistical significance(P < 0.01).
