| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of longbitong granule in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasiaMethods:In this study,60 patients with BPH were selected from the urology clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of traditional Chinese medicine from January 2019 to December 2019.They were randomly divided into the treatment group(30 cases)and the control group(30 cases).The treatment group was orally administered Qianlieshutong capsule with huangaotong granules.The two groups were treated for 30 consecutive days,and the patients in the two groups were treated with Qianlieshutong capsule before and after treatment The therapeutic effect,International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS),quality of life score(QOL),maximum urine flow rate(Qmax),prostaglandin volume(PV),residual urine(RU)and single symptom score of traditional Chinese medicine were evaluatedResults:After treatment,the comprehensive efficacy of the two groups of patients was better than before treatment;IPSS,QOL,Qmax,RU and single symptoms of TCM after treatment in both groups were significantly improved compared with before treatment,and the scores of IPSS,QOL,Qmax,RU between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment,the scores of single symptoms of TCM between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group after PV treatment and before treatment(P>0.05)Conclusion:Longbitong Granules can effectively improve benign prostatic hyperplasia and improve the quality of life of patients without discomfort. |
