Meta-analysis Of Treatment Of Diarrhea With Wumei Pill Plus Or Minus

Objective:To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of modified Wumei pill in the treatment of diarrhea,and to provide evidence-based basis for future clinical application.Method:According to this topic,relevant retrieval,and the development of reasonable inclusion and exclusion criteria,the use of computer network and paper books two ways,and collected from CNKI,VIP,Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform,CBM,Pub Med database,etc.Since the establishment of the database until October 2019,all the clinical randomized controlled trials(RCT)of Wumei pills for diarrhea treatment have strictly screened the required literature,designed the basic information extraction table and extracted the data included in the study,and evaluated and analyzed the quality of the included literature.Revman 5.3 software provided by Cochrane Collaboration Network was used to make a Meta-analysis of the outcome indicators included in the study.Results:This study included 28 literatures,totaling 2337 patients,26 of which were journal literature and 2 were master's literature,all of which were Chinese literature.Through quality evaluation and risk bias analysis,the overall quality of the literature was low.Meta-analysis results showed that: 1)the total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the western medicine control group: [OR = 4.55,95% CI(3.52,5.89),Z = 11.54,P < 0.00001];2)the improvement of TCM symptom score of the experimental group was better than that of the western medicine control group: [SMD=-1.51,95% CI(-2.16,-0.87),Z = 4.59,P < 0.00001];3)the safety evaluation of the experimental group was higher than that of the western medicine control group:[OR = 0.43,95% CI(0.23,0.79),Z = 2.70,P = 0.007];4)The recurrence rate of experimental group was lower than that of Western medicine control group:[RR = 0.34,95% CI(0.13,0.86),Z = 2.27,P = 0.02].Conclusions:1.Wumei pill plus or minus formula is a clinically effective prescription for the treatment of diarrhea;2.The addition and reduction of wumei pills can significantly improve the symptoms of diarrhea,with good curative effect;3.Treatment of diarrhea with wumei pill with less adverse reactions,high safety evaluation,low recurrence rate after drug withdrawal,good treatment stability.
