Study On The Characterrictics Of Formulas And Medicines For Treating Diarrhea With Danxi Xinfa

Objective:Diarrhea,one of the common diseases in Chinese medicine,also appears as a symptom in various spleen and stomach diseases.The Danxi Xinfa has comprehensive treatments for diarrhea.It has both clinical experience and theoretical innovation.It can reflect Zhu Danxi's academic thoughts more comprehensively.Therefore,the author uses this topic to study it,aiming to inherit and explore Zhu Danxi's academic thoughts and add new ideas for clinical treatment of diarrhea.Methods:This topic takes the prescription of Danxi Xinfa as the main research object,through collecting,consulting and comparing relevant literature,statistical analysis and classific ation comparison to analyze the treatment of diarrhea in Danx i Xinfa's characteristics of prescription medication.Results: According to the author's statistics,there are 29 prescriptions for diarrhea and 47 prescriptions for diarrhea,diarrhea,dysentery and diarrhea,such as vomiting and diarrhea,leukorrhagia and stool blood due to dampness in women,jaundice due to vomiting and diarrhea in children,watery diarrhe a before purulent blood,diarrhea lasting for along time and then abdominal distension and diarrhea,diarrhea lasting for a long time and then diarrhea,diarrhea with mild dysentery,etc.It is contained in 100 articles on treating diarrhea,dysentery,spleen and stomach,postpartum,children and secret recipe.A total of 121 drugs were involved in 82 prescriptions,of which the drug categories were mainly spleen strengthening and dampness eliminating,diuresis and dampness eliminating,dampness eliminating and diuresis eliminating.The top ten drugs with higher frequency of use were:Baizhu(Atractylodis rhizoma),Gancao(Glycyrrhrizae uralensis),Fuling(Poria),Chenpi(Pericarpium citrireticulatae),Cangzhu(Rhizoma Atractylodis),Huanglian(Coptidis rhizoma),Renshen(Ginseng),Ganjiang(Rhizoma zingiberis),Shenqu(Viral song),Huashi(Talc).The medicinal properties are mainly warm,pungent,bitter and sweet,mostly attributed to spleen,stomach and lung meridians.Conclusion:The author sums up the methods involved in the treatment of diarrhea in Danxi Xinfa into eight methods,namely,Ascending method,Benifiting method,Warming interior method,Eliminating accumulation method,Drying dampness method,Benefiting infiltration method,Attacking and descending method and Astringing method.In particular,Zhu Danxi makes good use of ascending method.On the basis of syndrome differentiation and treatment,he applies yin-nourishing products to treat diarrhea so as to achieve the effect of "yin producing with yang growing".
