Objective To investigate the effect of early gait retraining based on digital treadmill training on the recovery of lower limb motor function and fears of patients with unilateral knee ligament injury. Methods From January 2018 to December 2019,a total of 24 patients with unilateral knee ligament injury were randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group(n=12)and control group(n=12),all of whom were given routine rehabilitation therapy. The experimental group was treated with digital treadmill training 20 minutes per time,5 times per week in total 3 weeks.Patients walked with the help of armrests in the first week, then adjusted their step lengths according to the visual feedback in the second week, finally they had to deal with sudden acceleration or deceleration in the third week. Before and after 3 weeks treatment, they were measured indicators such as range of motion of the affected knee, tested with the Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia-11(TSK-11)and analysed the patients with Techno Body Walker-view digital treadmill. Results After treatment for 3 weeks, the scores of TSK-11 were lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),the range of motion, step speed, step lengths, peak flexion knee angle and peak flexion hip angle were increased(P<0.05),trunk flexion-extension range of motion and and touching time were decreased(P<0.05),the symmetry index in step lengths, peak flexion knee angle, peak flexion hip angle, and touching time were decreased(P<0.05).The comparison between the two groups showed that scores of TSK-11,space-time parameters, kinematic parameters and symmetry index of the experimental group were significantly impoved compared with the control group after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the healthy side, peak flexion knee angle of the affected side was smaller than that of the healthy side, the peak hip flexion angle and step length of the affected side was larger than that of the healthy side, and touching time of the affected side was significantly shorter than that of the healthy side(P<0.05).Conclusion Quantitative measurement of gait and evaluation of fear psychology are helpful to understand the motor function and psychology of patients with early knee ligament injury.Gait retraining based on digital treadmill training can effectively improve the walking function and psychological fears while step speed is increased, step length is increased, lower limbs joint range of motion and gait symmetry were improved.
