Objective:This study was to understand the epidemic characteristics of foodborne disease by investigating 3 years of foodborne disease surveillance cases in Maanshan City, and to conclude the monitoring situation of the medical institution.Combining the knowledge, attitude and behavior-related questionnaire surveys of medical staff on foodborne disease surveillance,we can understand the response capabilities of medical institutions and medical staff in Maanshan City in foodborne disease surveillance. The goal is to improve surveillance of foodborne diseases. It can provide empirical evidence for the development of targeted training programs and improve the level of monitoring capabilities.Method:Descriptive epidemiological methods were used to analyze the data of cases of foodborne diseases and the monitoring of medical institutions in Maanshan City from2015 to 2017.KAP questionnaire was used to survey medical staff involved in foodborne illness in the city.Data were entered and built using Epidata3.1 software, and statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0 software. The measurement data is described by??x±s?or M(P25?P75).The t-test or one-way analysis of variance was used to deal with the influencing factors of medical staff scores.Meaningful single factor variables were selected for multiple linear regression analysis.Pearson correlation analysis was used for correlation analysis of knowledge, attitude, behavior and clinical scene scores. The level of two-sided test is 0.05 for?.Result:The surveillance cases of foodborne diseases in Maanshan City from 2015 to2017 were mainly in the age group of 25 to 44 years?29.15%?and 45 to 64 years?25.09%?.The working population was mainly farmers?31.81%?and household and unemployed people?17.72%?.The peak period of consultation was the third quarter. The three-year surveillance case ratio is mainly in Huashan District?23.37%?,Hanshan County?18.43%?and Dangtu County?18.38%?.Bowang District has the highest reported incidence each year.Food-borne disease surveillance sentinel hospitals were divided into 5 tertiary hospitals?3,618 patients?,6 secondary hospitals?5,758 patients?,and 1 community?township?hospital?709 patients?.The peak period of hospital reporting of surveillance cases was mainly from July to September?42.95%?.The number of days from the date of diagnosis to the date when the doctor reported the case of foodborne disease showed a skewed distribution with M=1(P25?P75:0?5)d.There were statistically significant differences in reporting interval days between different years??2=244.989,P<0.001?and different hospital grades??2=851.379,P<0.001?.The scores of food-borne disease questionnaires of medical staff in Ma'anshan City were monitoring knowledge?7.32±1.83?,monitoring attitude?8.73±1.53?,diagnosis and treatment behavior?11.91±2.60?,and clinical scene?27.28±2.56?.It showed that monitoring knowledge was positively correlated with attitude, diagnosis and treatment behavior, and clinical scene?P<0.01?.After the single-factor meaningful variables were included in multiple linear regression, the knowledge scores included titles?t=3.635,P<0.001?,disremember training?t=-3.885,P<0.001?and department distribution?t=2.140,P=0.033?were statistically significant.Among the attitude scores, there were statistically significant differences in no training?t=-9.093,P<0.001?,disremember training?t=-7.353,P<0.001?and sentinel hospital?t=-2.913,P=0.004?.In the diagnosis and treatment behavior scores, the difference were statistically significant in public health major?t=-2.908,P=0.004?,medical laboratory major?t=-4.844,P<0.001?,no training?t=-3.263,P=0.001?,disremember training?t=-4.127,P<0.001?,gender?t=-2.196,P=0.028?and the distribution of departments?t=3.511,P<0.001?.In the clinical scene scores, there were statistically significant differences in titles?t=2.122,P=0.034?,no training?t=-3.315,P=0.001?and disremember training?t=-2.092,P=0.037?.Conclusion:The main cases of foodborne disease surveillance in Maanshan were farmers. The high incidence period was the third quarter each year, and they were mainly distributed in Huashan District.Medical institutions and medical staff have a certain ability to respond to foodborne disease surveillance. The monitoring information is clear and the report is timely, and it is also highly valued. However, there are different weaknesses in medical personnel's knowledge, attitude, behavior, and clinical scene diagnosis. It is recommended to carry out prevention and control of foodborne diseases in combination with actual surveillance. The information sharing platform can be established in conjunction with multiple departments, and multiple parties can participate in cooperation.Popular features will be targeted for precision training. The knowledge level of medical personnel related to foodborne diseases needs to be improved to strengthen their practical ability training. Finally, the goal of preventing and controlling foodborne diseases will be achieved.
