Objective The purpose of this study was to form a hypothetical model of influe nce factors of medication compliance on renal transplant recipients under literatur e review and the guidance of planned behavior theory that the past compliance b ehavior and personality trait variables were added to.To understand the level of medication compliance of renal transplant recipients. The structural equation mod el was used to fit the hypothetical model of factors affecting medication complia nce of renal transplant recipients, and to explore the applicability of the hypothet ical model.Based on the theory of planned behavior,to form the influence path of past medical compliance and personality trait on drug compliance of renal tr ansplant recipients, and to obtain the influencing factors of drug compliance of r enal transplant recipients.Method Through a cross-sectional study,279 renal transplant recipients were sele cted who were followed up in the renal transplantation clinic follow-up center of a third-class hospital from August 2018 to April 2019.The demographic and di sease data of renal transplant recipients were investigated by general condition qu estionnaire, and the BAASIS was used to investigate the medication compliance of renal transplant recipients. The planned behavior theory questionnaire for trans plant drug compliance was used to investigate the dimensions of planned behavio r theory and the status of medical compliance in the past. The CBF-PI-B was us ed to investigate the personality traits of renal transplant recipients, including neu roticism, agreeableness, conscientiousness, extroversion and openness. The database was established by Epi Data3.1,and the general data, questionnaires and dimens ion scores were statistically described, and single factor analysis and correlation analysis were done by SPSS16.0 software,AMOS17.0 software was used to fit a nd test the hypothetical model of factors affecting drug compliance of renal trans plant recipients.Result 1.In this study,112(40.10%)renal transplant recipients had poor complia nce with medication, and 167(59.90%)had good compliance.Among them, the incidence of renal transplant recipients taking drugs on time was the highest, acc ounting for 33% of the total population. The incidence of missed medication(24%)was the second, the incidence of continuous missed medication was 16.10%,and the incidence of failure to take medicine as prescribed by the doctor was t he lowest(11.10%).2.The results of univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in the scores of drug compliance of renal transplant recipients in terms of gend er,current working status, type of medication, time after transplantation, rejection and pulmonary infection(all P<0.05).3.The results of structural equation model test showed that medication intention a nd extroverted personality traits had a positive and direct effect on drug complia nce of renal transplant recipients, while conscientious personality traits had a neg ative direct effect on.Subjective norms, medication attitudes, past medical compli ance and agreeableness had positive indirect effects on drug compliance of renal transplant recipients, while neuroticism had negative indirect effects on.Perceptua l behavior control had both direct and indirect effects on drug compliance of ren al transplant recipients. The model explained the variance variation of 69.80% of drug compliance of renal transplant recipients.Among them, perceptual behavior control had the greatest influence on medication compliance of renal transplant recipients, and the effect was 0.561(including direct effect 0.458 and indirect eff ect 0.103).The second was past compliance behavior(0.493),medication intentio n(0.397),neuroticism(-0.170),subjective norm(0.154),medication attitude(0.130)and extroversion(0.123),followed by past compliance behavior(0.493),medic ation intention(0.397),neuroticism(-0.170),agreeableness(0.156),subjective nor m(0.154).Conscientiousness(-0.113)has the least impact. Conclusion Most of the renal transplant recipients(40.10%)had poor drug comp liance, among which the incidence of not taking drugs on time was the highest and that of not taking drugs as prescribed was the lowest.Male,on-the-job,taki ng 4-6 and 7-8 kinds of drugs, more than one year after transplantation, rejectio n and pulmonary infection after transplantation were more likely to have poor dr ug compliance. The hypothetical model of factors affecting drug compliance of r enal transplant recipients constructed in this study has a certain degree of explan ation and predictive power, which can explain 69.80% of the variance variation of drug compliance of renal transplant recipients.Renal transplant recipients with better medication attitude, better subjective norms and stronger perceptual behavi or control may have stronger drug intention, better perceptual behavior control ab ility, and better drug compliance. At the same time, the indirect effect of past co mpliance on drug compliance of renal transplant recipients should not be ignored.Renal transplant recipients who tend to have low conscientiousness and high ext roversion personality traits may have better medication compliance, but they also need to pay attention to the drug compliance of renal transplant recipients with high neuroticism and low agreeableness traits. In clinic, medical staff can carry out targeted guidance according to patients' different personality traits of renal tra nsplantation to improve drug compliance.
