Objective:The purpose of this study is to learn the general characteristics of self-esteem,general self-efficacy,self-acceptance,and self-identity among adolescents who refuse to go to school.Investigate whether there are differences in the four aspects between adolescents who refuse to go to school and normal adolescents;.Explore the impact of teenagers 'self-esteem,general self-efficacy,self-acceptance,and self-identity on school refusal behavior.Provide a scientific basis for psychological intervention and treatment of the problem of adolescents' refusal to attend school. Methods:Adolescents who attended the psychological clinic of Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University from June 2018 to October 2019 were selected as the research subjects. These teenagers had a refusal to go to school and were 12 to 18 years old. They were assessed using the general status questionnaire,self-esteem scale(SES),general self-efficacy scale(GSES),self-acceptance questionnaire(SAQ),and the Extend Objective Measure of Ego Identity Status-2(EOM-EIS-2).SPSSl7.0 software package was used for statistical analysis. The main statistical methods used include descriptive statistics, independent sample t test(? = 0.05),chi-square test(? = 0.05),and unconditional logistic regression analysis. Results:A total of 86 cases met the inclusion criteria, including 46 males and 40 females, with an average age of 14.85 ± 1.71 years. There was significant difference in the overall self-esteem and general self-efficacy between the case group and the control group(p<0.01);There was a significant difference between the case group and the control group in self-acceptance,evaluation factors, and acceptance factors of SAQ(p<0.01);The overall composition ratio of the type of identity status between the case group and the control group is different, and the difference is significant(p<0.01).Adolescents' overall self-esteem,general self-efficacy,and acceptance factors are protective factors of refusal to attend school(OR = 0.341 ? 0.471).Conclusion:Adolescents who have refused to go to school have a low level of self-esteem,low self-efficacy,low evaluation of the real self, and low acceptance of the real self. The adolescents with or without refusal to go to school have different overall composition ratios of the types of identity status.Adolescents' overall self-esteem,generalself-efficacy,and self-acceptance can reduce the risk of refusal to attend school. In contrast, the impact of overall self-esteem is more important.
