Objective: Under the Phases-Decision-Making Model(PDM) which is put forward by Jiang guangrong .reviewing the reason of neurotic patients seeking psychological help .Methods: A questionnaire was administrated to 176 neurotic patients. Results :(1) The most neurotic patients who is seeking help at the outpatient service are students and jobless people;(2) In seven influence factors, the most important is validity, the second is the perceive of problem character and important degree and the third is self-efficacy;(3) The female is more than the male at the economy factor. There were significantly different at the side ;(4) The validity factor had obvious positive correlation with seeking-help time , dependency(r=0.56).
