Objective:To understand the infection characteristics of patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA)and the risk factors of infection in RA patientsMethods:A retrospective analysis of the infection characteristics of RA inpatients in the Northern Theater General Hospital from April 2017 to April 2019,including the site of infection, pathogens, and drug resistance of pathogens;Chi-square test for possible related risk factors for infection in RA patients And binary logistic multivariate analysisResults:113 infections(24.67%)occurred in 458 patients with RA in the hospital The most common infections were lung infection(16.16%),urinary infection(3.71%)and upper respiratory infection(3.06%).In the composition of pathogens, bacteria ranked first(79.66%),mainly Gram-negative bacteria. In addition, there were 3 cases of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and 3 cases of herpes virus, and 2 cases of fungi,Chlamydia, and Ureaplasma urealyticum. The most common strains of infection in RA patients are Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus, and Enterobacteriaceae. The results of bacterial drug susceptibility tests showed that the proportion of resistant strains was higher, and the gram-negative bacteria were more sensitive to piperacillin/tazobactam and carbapenems.Risk factors related to infection suggest that the risk factors associated with infection in RA patients are hypoproteinemia and hormone therapyConclusion:The common infection sites of RA patients are respiratory system and urinary system.Gram-negative bacilli are common pathogenic bacteria.RA patients treated with hypoproteinemia and hormones are prone to co-infection.Piracillin/tazobactam Carbapenems are used as empirical anti-infective treatments.
