Clinical Observation On Treatment Of The Phlegm-wet Type Polycystic Ovary Syndrome With Modified Xionggui Erchen Decoction

Objective:In this study,the clinical efficacy and advantages of modified Xionggui Erchen decoction in the treatment of the phlegm-wet type polycystic ovarian syndrome were observed,so as to provide effective and safe treatment with traditional Chinese medicine for patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome.Methods: The study used self-control method.In this study,33 patients who met the inclusion criteria of the phlegm-wet type polycystic ovarian syndrome were selected from the gynecological clinic of the first affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine to give the modified Xionggui Erchen decoction for 3 months.During this period,attention was paid to the menstrual cycle,TCM clinical syndromes,BMI and the secretion status of sex hormone before and after treatment,and whether the patients had related adverse reactions during treatment to understand the safety of drugs.Results:1.Analysis of the basic situation of these patients,found that most patients are between the ages of 25 and 30.2.The 30 patients who completed treatment were phlegm-wet PCOS,most of them were obese.After three months of Chinese medicine treatment,most of the patients lost weight compared with the previous treatment,BMI also decreased after treatment.Among them,4 patients had BMI in normal range(18.5<BMI<22.9)before treatment and 10 patients in normal range after treatment.difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).3.The menstrual cycle of the patients was shortened after treatment.Pre treatment,the mean value of menstrual cycle score was 1.77±0.82,Post treatment was 1.23±0.57,P<0.01,which had statistical difference.4.After treatment,the symptoms of dizziness,heavy limbs and fatigue were relieved to varying degrees,and the scores were decreased than before,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),which showed that the quality of life of the patients was improved.5.The patient's serum hormone levels improved to some extent : The mean value before LH treatment was 11.13±2.04,the mean value after treatment was 8.69±2.06,P<0.01,which represented the difference,indicating that there was a certain decrease after treatment of the LH;The mean value before LH/FSH treatment was 2.18±0.57,the mean value after treatment was1.62±0.52,P<0.01.It means after treatment,LH/FSH decreased;FSH mean value was 5.29±1.05 before treatment and 5.53±1.30 after treatment.P>0.05,it is not statistically significant;The mean value before T treatment was 62.13±12.27,and the mean value after treatment was 49.27±10.04,P<0.01,which had statistical difference.6.In the course of treatment,3 patients fell off and the remaining 30 cases were cured in 1 cases,markedly effective in 9 cases,effective in 15 casesand and ineffective in 5 cases.the total effective rate was 83.3%.Conclusion: Xiong Gui Erchen decoction can effectively improve the sex hormone level,reduce the weight,improve its menstrual condition and other uncomfortable symptoms in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome.its curative effect is safe and reliable.
