OBJECTIVE : This trial explored whether the electric acupuncture sparse wave treatment was more effective in improving the clinical symptoms of pseudobulbar palsy after stroke than the sparse wave treatment alone for different courses METHODS : Sixty patients with post-stroke pseudobulbar palsy who were treated in the first ward of the acupuncture department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2018 to December 2018 were selected and met the inclusion criteria. For the treatment group and the control group,30 cases in each group,Professor Gao Weibin's "acupuncture" therapy was used, combined with electroacupuncture, acupuncture at the acupoint, blood supply, and acupoints were selected. The pool(+)and the blood supply(-)are connected as a group. The treatment group was treated with electric acupuncture and sparse waves;the control group was treated with electric acupuncture and sparse waves. Each treatment was 30 minutes, twice a day,and the treatment was rested for 6 days.A total of 4 courses of treatment were performed per day.The swallowing function and speech function of the two groups of patients were evaluated before treatment, after two weeks of treatment, after three weeks of treatment, and after the end of the course of treatment. After the end of treatment, the statistical analysis of spss23.0 software was used to evaluate the efficacy.RESULTS : 1.This study observed patients treated with electroacupuncture sparse wave waveform and sparse wave waveform separately.According to statistics, there were no statistically significant differences in gender, age, and course of disease between the two groups of pseudobulbar palsy after stroke. It istherefore comparable between the two groups.2.speech function of the two groups before treatment was compared, there was no significant difference;after four courses, the speech function of the treatment group and the control group was recovered,P<0.01,and there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group,p>0.05.3.There was no significant difference in the swallowing function between the two groups of patients before treatmenttreatment;after the treatment of four courses of treatment, the comparison between the two groups,P<0.01,had a very significant difference.before and after treatment in the treatment group,P<0.01,there was a very significant statistical difference;before and after treatment in the control group,P<0.01,there was a very significant statistical difference. Both groups were effective, but the improvement of swallowing function in the treatment group was better than that in the control group. After four courses of treatment, the treatment group was more effective than the control group in the recovery of swallowing function.4.Comparison of the efficacy scores after treatment in hospitalized patients. The total effective rate in the treatment group was 9 3.33%,and the total effective replacement rate was 83.33 % in the treatment group. The treatment group could be replaced, and the difference was statistically significant.CONCLUSION: Sparse wave electrical acupuncture can significantly improve the speech function of patients with pseudobulbar palsy after stroke.
