Part1:A comparative study of intralobar sequestration and extralobar sequestrationObjective: The aim of this study was to discuss the effects of different classifications of intralobar sequestration(ILS)and extralobar sequestration(ELS)on neonates with congenital pulmonary sequestration(PS)during and after operation. Methods: In this clinical study,29 PS children diagnosed by pathological examination and imageological examination at our hospital between January 2019 and December 2019,were enrolled. In our study,we compared whether there were statistical differences in blood loss, operative time and post-operative hospital stay between the two groups after thoracoscopic pulmonary wedge resection. Results:There were no significant differences in gender, operative age, preoperative weight, and isolated lung position between ILS and ELS groups(p > 0.05).There was more intra-operative bleeding in ILS children than ELS children(p < 0.05).Operation time of children with ILS and postoperative hospitalization time were longer than that of children with ELS(p<0.05).The postoperative pathological microscopic view of ILS and ELS is similar. The view in surgery were different between ILS and ELS,ELS can see the isolated lobes under the endoscope, which disintegrate well with the normal lung tissue. Conclusion: Different types of congenital PS have different influence on the newborn during and after operation.Surgery is more difficult and the postoperative recovery is slower in children with ILS.More attention should be paid to the clinical treatment of children with ILS.There was no significant difference in the postoperative pathology of ILS and ELS,and the manifestations seen in ILS and ELS were different.Part2:The clinical study of prenatal ultrasound in the diagnosis and prognosis assessment of congenital PSObjective: The aim of this study was to discuss the diagnostic and prognostic value of prenatal ultrasound for Pulmonary sequestration(PS).Methods: In this clinical study,105 PS children diagnosed by pathological examination at our hospital or Guangdong Women's and Children's Hospital between January 2015 and December 2019,were enrolled.According to the CVR value of prenatal ultrasound,PS children were divided into two groups: CVR?1.6 and CVR < 1.6.In this study,we compared whether there were statistical differences between the two groups in postnatal respiratory symptoms and fetal fetal edema(the fetal fetal edema assessed by fetal heart compression). Results:There were no statistically differences in gestational weeks, the type of PS and the gender of chlidren between the CVR?1.6 group and CVR<1.6 group(p>0.05).CVR?1.6 was associated with an increased risk of fetal edema and infant respiratory symptoms(p<0.05).Conclusion: Prenatal ultrasound could be a method to improve diagnostic efficacy for PS.The CVR value of prenatal ultrasound can evaluate the degree of fetal edema and predict the respiratory symptoms of PS children after birth.
