| Objective:To investigate the association of nutritional indicators serum albumin, prealbumin, body mass index(BMI)and pulmonary ventilation function in elderly patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods:We selected 70 elderly patients with AECOPD admitted in our hospital from october 2017 to october 2018 as the observation group, and then selected 70 patients with simultaneous period elderly health examination as the control group to compare the difference of serum albumin, prealbumin,BMI and pulmonary function between the two groups, and analyzed the relationship between serum albumin, prealbumin and BMI levels and lung ventilation function in patients.Statistical method: The measurement data conform to the normal distribution is expressed as mean ± standard deviation(x ±s),and the median(P25,P75)is not satisfied with the normal distribution.the two independent samples t test or wilcoxon rank sum test were used in the two groups, the variance test or kruskal-wallish test were used in the multi-group comparison, and the correlation of serum albumin,pre-albumin,BMI level and pulmonary ventilation function were analyzed by pearson and spearman correlation test.P <0.01 was statistically significant.Results:1.In this study,a total of 70 elderly patients with AECOPD were included in the observation group,45 cases of men and women in 25 cases, aged 60 ~ 86,the average(71.9 + 6.1)years of age, level of pulmonary function Ⅰ 13 cases,Ⅱ level 15 cases,Ⅲ 23 cases,19 cases Ⅳ level.Control group:70 healthy people were used as the control group,of which 42 were male and 28 were female, aged 60–86 years and average(69.4±5.7)years.There was no significant difference in age and sex composition between the two groups(P >0.05).2.The average water of serum albumin, prealbumin and BMI in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P <0.01).3.The FEVl/FVC and FEV1% pred values in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(p <0.01).4.The difference of serum albumin, prealbumin and BMI among patients with different lung function levels was statistically significant(P <0.01).5.The levels of serum albumin, prealbumin and BMI decreased with the increase of lung function grade.6.The levels of serum albumin, prealbumin and BMI were positively correlated with FEVl/FVC and FEV1% pred values in AECOPD elderly patients, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01).Conclusion: The nutritional indexes of elderly patients with AECOPD,such as serum albumin,pre-albumin and BMI,are abnormally reduced, and are closely related to the pulmonary ventilation function of patients, which can be used as an important indicator for monitoring the condition of patients with AECOPD. |
