Objectives 1.According to the literature review on the theory of the Dual Model of Mental Health, the Dual Model of Mental Health-composite index model and the Dual Model of Mental Health-single index model of nursing undergraduates were constructed and verified respectively.2.Based on the Dual Model of Mental, investigate the mental health of nursing undergraduates.3.Analyze the dynamic changes of mental health grouping of nursing undergraduates after 5 months. Methods From December 2018 to May 2019,735 nursing undergraduates were selected as research objects in four undergraduate medical schools in Anhui Province. In December 2018,the general health questionnaire was used to survey the demographics of undergraduate nursing students, and the physical health dimensions, anxiety dimensions, and depression dimensions of the Chinese Health Questionnaire(CHQ-12)were used to measure the general health of nursing undergraduates Level,Satisfaction With Life Scale(SWLS)measures the life satisfaction,Positive Affect and Negative Affect Scale(PANAS)measures the positive and negative emotions of nursing undergraduates. In May 2019,the same questionnaire survey was conducted for the same batch of nursing undergraduates.Epi Data 3.1 software was used for data entry.SPSS 20.0 was used for descriptive statistical analysis of the data,Chi-square test.AMOS 21.0 software was used to construct and verify the structural equation model. Results 1.By comparing different models, the results show that the Dual Model of Mental Health-composite index model is better fitted than the Dual Model of Mental Health-single index model:c2/df=1.283,RMSEA=0.020,GFI=0.997,AGFI=0.989,NFI=0.995,IFI=0.999,CFI=0.999.2.The "four points theory" is applicable to nursing undergraduates. The First mental health classification results show that: 66.6%(475)were completely mentally healthy,25.4%(181)were vulnerable,3.1%(22)were symptomatic but content,4.9%(35)were troubled.3.There were statistically significant differences in the mental health grouping of nursing undergraduates with different grades, academic pressure and undergraduates with or without medical staff at home(P <0.05).4.After 5 months,51.1% of nursing undergraduates students maintain stable mental health, the complete mental healthy(67.0%)of nursing undergraduates had the best stability in,followed by vulnerable(25.4%),and the troubled had the worst stability(3.0%).The order of conversion to the complete mental healthy is: symptomatic but content>vulnerable>troubled;the order of conversion to the troubled is: symptomatic but content>vulnerable>complete mental healthy. Conclusion 1.The Dual Model of Mental Health-composite index model is suitable for nursing undergraduates, and its fitting index is ideal. It can be applied to the mental health research of nursing undergraduates in the future.2.According to the Dual Model of Mental Health, the "four points theory" can be used to divide the mental health status of nursing undergraduates into four categories: completely mentally healthy, vulnerable, symptomatic but content, and troubled.3.There were statistically significant differences in the mental health grouping of nursing undergraduates with different grades, academic pressure and undergraduates with or without medical staff at home(P <0.05).4.Tracking of the mental health group of nursing undergraduates find that the complete mental healthy has the best stability, and the troubled has the worst stability. The proportion of symptomatic but content convert to the complete mental healthy and the troubled both rank first, and the vulnerable and symptomatic but content whose mental health is at an intermediate level are more unstable. Therefore, mental health workers are reminded to pay attention to those who are in the middle of mental health and intervene in time to guide them to change in a good direction and avoid switching to the ill group.
