| Objectives: This study is done to know the mental health抯 level, matter and affecting factor of Anhui undergraduates at the bottom of twenty century. This doing is in order to prevent and control their mental disorders抯 happening, and to improve their mental health抯 level. Methods: 2800 undergraduates were taken out randomly to finish anonymous questionnaires. The survey members were trained. Results: The rate of mental disorders is 20.15% in which the rate of mental disease is 0.98%. The checkout rate of compel symptom is the most high (7.47%) in the important mental matters. The other matters are in turn as follow: sensitivity in the relation with other persons, hostility, blues, and crankiness. The rate of mental disorders is falling down companied the grades?hoisting, but the diversity has no notability. The mental symptoms of graduate-class students aren抰 different from the model of national young group. Undergraduates in normal school have higher rate of mental disorders and more severe mental symptoms than other students in other universities; the rate and the symptoms of medical students are the lowest and lightest. In these factors which affect undergraduates?mental health, the selfhood of unsteady mood has the maximal effect; the other factors are in turn as follow: having gotten discrimination and disesteem, the selfliood of spirited nature, introverted character, making in mistakes to estimate consulting oneself in sexual respect. Additionally, the selfhood of unsteady mood has 2 middle or high degree with 9 mental symptoms. Gender has undirected effect on the mental-disorders抯 happening through other variables. Conclusions: Undergraduates are high-tech抯 persons with ability in the future and erectors of Chinese social. Because they are in a special phase, their mental matters are not allowed to overlook. Undergraduates themselves or education teaching staff in high school could prevent and control the mental-matters?occurring from different aspects.
