Objective:Real-time quantitative measurement of the pulse wave velocity of the common carotid artery in the hyperlipidemia patients,ie,arterial elasticity, using ultrasonography, and comparison with the carotid artery wall elasticity of healthy people to evaluate the total carotid artery of hyperlipidemia patients Arterial elasticity. Methods:A total of 230 patients, aged 18-75 years, were selected from August 2018 to August 2019 in the physical examination center of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University.According to the blood lipid test report at the time of medical examination, the 230 medical patients were divided into:hyperlipidemia group(group H),normal group(group N),according to age:youth group(group A):18 to 40 years old;Middle-aged group(group B):41?65 years old, elderly group(group C):? 66 years old:Hyperlipidemia group:a total of 134 cases, aged 18 to 75 years, average age(49.84 ± 14.52)years,including 78 males, average age(48.13 ± 15.82)years,56 females, average age(48.27 ± 15.03)Years old, divided into 3 groups according to age stage.HA group:45 patients 18 to 40 years old with an average age of(31.79 ± 5.67)years old;HB group:46 patients aged 41 to 65 years with an average age(52.28±6.60)years;HC group:43 cases 66-75 years old with an average age(69.82±3.62)years old;Normal group:a total of 96 cases, aged 20 to 75 years, with an average age of(47.21 ± 14.69)years,including 45 males, with an average age of(48.45 ± 16.20)years,51 females, with an average age of(47.63 ± 16.75)years,according to Age groups are divided into 3 groups.NA group:39 cases 20 to 40 years old with an average age(30.42 ± 5.96)years old;NB group:32 cases 41 to 65 years old with an average age(50.21 ± 6.73)years old;Nc group:25 patients 66-75 years old with an average age(69.38±2.85)years old;The Aix-plorer ultrasound diagnostic instrument of Supersonic Imagine of France was used to observe the two-dimensional ultrasound of the common carotid artery, and the ultrafast ultrasound imaging technology(Ultrafast,UF)was used to determine the bilateral common carotid artery pulse wave conduction velocity:pulse wave conduction at the beginning of systole Velocity(BS-PWV),pulse wave velocity at the end of systole(ES-PWV)and the corresponding standard deviation(?±).Results:1.The elasticity indexes BS-PWV and ES-PWV of the left common carotid artery in the normal group and the hyperlipidemia group were higher than those of the right common carotid artery(P<0.05).2.Gender differences had no effect on bilateral common carotid artery elasticity indexes BS-PWV and ES-PWV(P>0.05).3.The bilateral common carotid artery elasticity indexes BS-PWV and ES-PWV in the hyperlipidemia group and the normal group were positively correlated with age,and young people of different ages<middle age<old age(P<0.05).4.Whether the thickening of the common carotid artery-media membrane complex and the presence or absence of atherosclerotic plaque formation in the hyperlipidemia group have no effect on the common carotid artery elasticity indicators BS-PWV and ES-PWV(P>0.05).5.The common carotid artery elasticity indexes BS-PWV and ES-PWV in the hyperlipidemia group at the same age were significantly larger than those in the normal group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Ultrasound imaging technology can quantitatively evaluate the changes of bilateral common carotid artery elasticity in patients with hyperlipidemia in real time. There is a decrease in arterial elasticity before the morphological changes of the arteriosclerotic tube wall. The sensitivity of ultrasound ultrasonography in the diagnosis of arteriosclerosis is higher than Two-dimensional ultrasound. To a certain extent, ultrasonographic imaging technology can assess the development direction of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, predict the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular accidents, and provide strong evidence for clinical evaluation of arterial elasticity changes and dynamic observation of treatment effects.
