Study objective:Avulsion fractures around joints account for a significant proportion of all fractures.It is therefore necessary to develop effective treatments for this condition.In this study,we investigated the impact of different internal fixations on the treatment and prognosis of avulsion fracture of the femoral greater trochanter apex and dislocation around the ankle joint with talus avulsion fracture of the radial styloid.Methods:(1)A total of 28 cases with peripheral avulsion fractures and talus dislocation were treated using cannulated screws and miniature screw.Assessment of the recovery of joint function was performed using the American foot and Ankle Society(AOFAS)tests and foot function scores.(2)A total of 42 patients with avulsion fractures of the trochanteric trochanteric trochanter were analyzed.The patients were treated with open reduction and external ankle anatomical locking plate and lag screw fixation.The functional recovery of the patients was evaluated by Harris score.(3)Analysis of 28 patients with sacral styloid fractures treated with Kirschner wire tension band+cannulated screw and mini-plate.The Gartland and Werley wrist function scores were compared between the two treatment methods for tibial styloid fractures.Results:(1)In the talus dislocation with peripheral avulsion fracture,the last follow-up group scores for the miniature screws were 93.3±2.33,whereas those of hollow screw at the last follow-up were 94.2±2.30.There was no significant difference in the scores between micro-screw fixation group and cannulated screw fixation group(P>0.05).(2)In patients with avulsion fractures of the trochanter of the femur,95%of the patients had locking plate had Excellent Rate and he Good rate was 100%;the Excellent rate of lag screw was 81.8%,and the good rate was 95.4%.(3)In patients with avulsion fracture of the styloid process of the humerus,the wrist joint of the Kirschner wire tension band+cannulated screw group had functional score of Excellent was 88.8%and good rate of 96%.The function score of Excellent in wrist joint of microplate group was 81.8%,and good rate was 100%.Conclusions:(1)Application of micro-screw fixation and cannulated screw fixation in patients with talus detachment with avulsion fracture can effectively restore foot and ankle function.No differences were observed between the two internal fixation methods.(2)In patients with avulsion fractures at the apex of the femoral trochanter,the superior rate and excellent rate of patients with locking plate were higher than those with lag screws.(3)In patients with radial styloid avulsion fracture,tension in band group+group of hollow screw was higher than that of micro-plate group,but lower than that of the micro fine plate group.
