Efficacy Analysis Of Internal Fixation Of The Suture Anchor Iun The Treatment Of Type Ⅱfracture Of The Ulnar Styloid Process

Objective:To compare the therapeutic effects of internal fixation with suture bone anchors for ulnar styloid process type Ⅱ fracture with traditional conservative treatment.Methods:Thirty-two patients with ulnar styloid process type Ⅱ(Hauck classification)fractures admitted to the Department of Osteoarticular Surgery,Affiliated Hospital of Yanbian University from January 2009 to June 2018 were retrospectively analyzed including 14 patients treated with suture bone anchors(experimental group)and 18 patients treated with plaster fixation and conservative treatment(control group).SPSS25.0 software was used for data statistics.The general data before treatment and Gartland-Werley wrist joint function scores 1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation were analyzed.The excellent and good rates of the two surgical methods were counted and compared.Results:All patients were followed up for 6-12 months with an average of 10 months.The general data of gender,age,injury factors and affected side of the two groups were not statistically significant(all P>0.05).The Gartland-Werley score in the experimental group was(7±4.30)and that in the control group was(15.39±5.77)one month after operation.The results after t-test were statistically significant(p<0.05).Three months after operation,the score of the experimental group was(3.79±3.51)and that of the control group was(10.72±5.12).After t-test,the result was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of the experimental group was(2.29±3.17)and that of the control group was(6.89±5.41)6 months after operation.The results of t-test showed statistical significance(P<0.05).According to Gartland-Werley scoring criteria,the significance of the evaluation score is 0-2 is excellent,3-8 is good,and 9-20 is acceptable.More than 21 points are poor.The excellent and good rate was 71.4%in the experimental group and 11.1%in the control group one month after operation.The results of the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate was 92.9%in the experimental group and 33.3%in the control group 3 months after operation.The results of the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate was 92.9%in the experimental group and 66.7%in the control group 6 months after operation.The results of the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The surgical treatment of ulnar styloid process type II fracture with suture bone anchors is a feasible surgical method.Its therapeutic effect is superior to conservative treatment,which can significantly improve the prognosis and quality of life of patients and reduce the occurrence of complications.
