Objective:Preliminary exploration of health education model for type 2 diabetes patients in Western Hunan Method:100 patients with type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into two groups who admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Jishou University from December 2018 to may 2019,50 cases in each group.The control group adopted the traditional health education mode,and the observation group adopted thes trengthening education and follow-up intervention mode.Before and 6 months after the intervention,the biochemical indexes(Glu,Hb A1 C,blood pressure,blood fat,IBM),diabetes knowledge and self-management level of the two groups were compared.Results:1?Self comparison before and after of the two groups(1)Before and after the intervention of observation group,GLU,PBG,IBM,Hb A1 C,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,TCHO,TG and low-density lipoprotein decreased;high-density lipoprotein,diabetes knowledge,total score of self-management,diet control,exercise,drug compliance,blood glucose monitoring,foot care increased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the compliance rate of GLU,PBG,Hb A1 C and blood pressure were higher than before(P < 0.05),but compliance rate of blood fat was not significantly improved(P > 0.05).(2)Control group:Compared the results with before intervention,IBM,GLU,P BG,Hb A1 C,high-density lipoprotein and diet control had no significant change(P > 0.05);TG,TCHO,systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were significantly lower than before;low-density lipoprotein,diabetes knowledge score,total self-management score,drug compliance,exercise,blood glucosemonitoring and foot care increased than before,there was no significant difference between the them(P < 0.05);There was no significant increase in the compliance rate of GLU,PBG,Hb A1 C and blood fat than before(P < 0.05).2?Comparison between the two groups after intervention: The results showed that the GLU,PBG,Hb A1 C,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,TCHO,TG and low-density lipoprotein decreased significantly in the observation group compared with the control group(P < 0.05);While,high-density lipoprotein,diabetes knowledge,total score of self-management,drug compliance,diet control,blood glucose monitoring,exercise,foot care were all had a significant increase(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1?Strengthening health education and follow-up intervention can enhance the diabetes knowledge and self-management level of patients in Western Hunan,which can effectively improve the standard rate of Glu,Hb A1 C and blood pressure,but can't improve the standard rate of blood fat.2?Traditional health education can enhance diabetes knowledge and self-manag ement level of patients in Western Hunan,but it can not effectively improve th e standard rate of blood pressure,Hb A1 C and blood fat.3?Strengthening health education,follow-up intervention and traditional health education can reduce PBG,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,TG,TCHO and low-density lipoprotein,can improve the level of diabetes knowledge and self-management,and the effect of strengthening health education and follow-up intervention is better than that of traditional health education.
