Objective:The purpose of this study was to clarify the pathological classification and epidemiological characteristics of adult patients who underwent percutaneous renal biopsy for renal diseases in our hospital.Method:The clinical and pathological data of 1103 patients with renal puncture in our hospital from January 2009 to December 2018 were retrospectively analyzed, and their basic demographic data were collected. Then the patients were grouped according to gender, age, renal puncture time, pathological type, clinical manifestations, and clinical diagnosis. The distribution and changes of pathological types and the relationship between clinic and pathology were analyzed by SPSS 24.0 software.Result:Renal puncture patients were mostly male, the ratio of male to female was 1.02:1.And there were significant differences in gender distribution among different pathological types.Primary Glomerular Disease(PGD)is more common in males than in females, while Secondary Glomerular Disease(SGD)and other pathological types are more common in females than in males. The average age of patients undergoing renal puncture was 40.1 ± 14.2 years old.Compared with the previous five years, the average age of renal puncture patients showed an increasing trend(37.4±13.8 years increased to 42.3±14.2 years),and the proportion of elderly patients(?60 years)was significantly higher than before(8.8%increased to 16.4%),but the main population was still young adults(25-59 years)(72.6%).In all renal puncture patients,PGD accounted for 87.8%of all renal puncture cases, and the most frequent pathological types were IgA nephropathy(IgAN)(34.2%)and Membranous Nephropathy(MN)(28.0%).Compared with the previous five years, the proportion of MN increased significantly(First 5 years was 17.5%and after 5 years was 37.4%,p<0.001).SGD accounted for 11.2%of kidney diseases, among which lupus nephritis(LN)(34.1%),Diabetic nephropathy(DN)(19.5%)and Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis(HSPN)(16.3%)were the most common. The most common diagnoses of renal puncture patients were chronic nephritic syndrome(50.1%)and Nephrotic syndrome(NS)(40.0%).The main pathological types of chronic nephritic syndrome are IgAN(43.4%),while the main pathological types of NS are MN(46.3%)and GML(26.1%).The most common pathological type of patients diagnosed with chronic nephritic syndrome in PGD is IgAN(52.4%).The most important clinical diagnoses in SGD were chronic nephritic syndrome(72.4%)and NS(22.8%),of which LN(31.5%)was the main pathological type of chronic nephritic syndrome and LN(46.4%)was the main pathological type of NS.Conclusion:1.The main population of kidney diseases is young adults. In recent years,Its average age has an increasing trend, and the proportion of elderly patients with renal puncture has increased significantly.2.The patients with renal puncture are mainly PGD,and the incidence of MN has increased significantly in recent years.LN is the most common SGD.3.The main pathological types of chronic nephritic syndrome are IgAN,while the main pathological types of NS are MN and GML.
