| objectiveUnder the trend of the new medical reform policy, the management and continuous improvement of medical quality and safety is an eternal theme. The introduction of the two measures of zero plus drug addition and centralized drug procurement in public hospitals has led to a large increase in the supply of drugs in hospital pharmacies, and the number of drug varieties has increased by hundreds every year, which has increased the difficulty of pharmacy management. This study is based on the quality control circle as a new quality management system, has been gradually applied to all aspects of drug circulation. With the standardization and institutionalization of hospital outpatient pharmacy management, this paper introduces quality control circle(QCC)activities, discusses its role in improving the accounting compliance rate of outpatient pharmacy inventory, and how to further tap the potential of pharmacy pharmacists, reduce the negative impact of the implementation of zero plus drug policy on pharmacists, improve their understanding of their own work, and then enhance the core competitiveness of the organization Good service to patients.Method:This study searched domestic and foreign literature, such as CNKI,VIP database,Wanfang Data and other related literature.Establish a quality control circle group, use various quality control circle techniques to analyze the reasons for the low compliance rate of drug accounts in outpatient western medicine dispensing room, formulate and implement corresponding countermeasures, and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control circle activities. This QCC activity first investigated the problems that need to be solved in the operation of outpatient pharmacy in our hospital.Eight topics were selected according to the weight from multiple topics.Circle members further selected the theme by using evaluation method, and determined that the theme was to improve the drug account consistency rate of outpatient pharmacy. After the theme is established,a series of quality control circle activities are set up by applying the four stages of PDCA Cycle Theory:p-plan,d-execution,c-inspection and a-implementation,and a series of quality control circle activities are set up,including objective and feasibility analysis, cause analysis, cause demonstration, countermeasures and measures, effect evaluation and consolidation measures.Results:1.The compliance rate of drug accounts in outpatient western medicine dispensing room increased from 82.41%to 93.58%,the target achievement rate was 107.30%,and the progress rate was 13.55%.2.The cost loss caused by the inconsistency of accounts and materials includes the loss of account amount and the loss of labor cost. After improvement, the inventory loss and inventory profit ratio decreased significantly in the inspection cycle.Compared with that before the improvement, the drug inventory time in the inspection cycle after improvement was significantly reduced, and the average dispensing time of single prescription also decreased. At the same time, the number of patients’complaints caused by drug dispensing error and no drug in pharmacy after payment decreased significantly.3 through the activities of quality control circle, two related papers were published in domestic core journals:literature analysis on the application of quality control circle activities in hospital high-risk drug management, and construction of standardized training system for outpatient pharmacists.4.All circle members evaluated the activity from six aspects:problem solving ability, communication and coordination ability, sense of achievement, work enthusiasm, team cohesion and the use of quality control techniques have been greatly improved. Conclusions:Through the real cause analysis,it is found that the three real reasons for the low compliance rate of drug accounts in the outpatient pharmacy of our hospital are the prescriptions taken every month, the inconsistent materials caused by the easily confused drugs, and the non recheck of inventory and entry.2.This study found that the outpatient pharmacy after the QCC activities, the drug accounting compliance rate increased significantly, reduced the economic loss of the hospital, and improved patient satisfaction.Quality control circle(QCC)is an important means to improve pharmacy drug management.3.This QCC activity in our hospital outpatient pharmacy has stimulated the circle members’ critical thinking ability and improved the ability to use quality management tools.,at the same time, improved the enthusiasm of circle members and the sense of achievement of obtaining honor. The activity of quality control circle improved the drug accounting compliance rate of outpatient pharmacy in hospital, provided practical experience for the standardized management of other pharmacies in hospital, and explored the application of quality control circle activity in outpatient department The application value of pharmacy work mode management also provides practical experience for outpatient pharmacy to apply quality control circle management tools in other aspects. |
