| Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Chinese medicine acupoint app lication in the treatment of meibomian glandcyst.Methods:Randomized research method to 80 cases in our hospital outpatient clinic of meibomian gland cyst patients were divided into experimental group 40 cases and control group 40 cases.The control group was treated with topical antibiotic eye drops and hot compress.The experimental group was treated with acupoint application of Chinese medicine on the basis of the control group.Results: Among the 40 cases in the experimental group,21 cases were cured,12 cases were improved,and 7 cases were ineffective,with a total effective rate of 82.5%.Among the 40 cases in the control group,12 cases were cured,10 cases were improved,and 18 cases were ineffective,with a total effective rate of 55%.The effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in ocular symptom scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),while there was significant improvement between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group,with statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05)Conclusion:Chinese medicine acupoint application in the treatment of meibomian gland cyst can improve the effect of conservative treatment,improve ocular symptoms,and make meibomian gland cyst patients,especially children,avoid surgical treatment as far as possible,which is an effective treatment method for meibomian gland cyst. |
