Objective: Manage to use digitalized methods to provide personalized prosthetic treatment for patients to judge its effectiveness initially during the process of analyzing,designing and reproducing of anterior tooth aesthetics.Methods: Five clinical patients were selected in the author's hospital of stomatology from October 2017 to October 2019 to improve the aesthetic degree of anterior teeth.Inclusion criteria:(1)Good condition and no systemic disease;(2)Aesthetic problems of anterior teeth;(3)Prosthesis types: full crown or veneer;(4)Accepting digital treatment plans;(5)Possessing independent behavior and expression ability.Exclusion criteria :(1)Females in pregnancy;(2)Patient's teeth cannot be restored by static methods;(3)Lacking skills of independently acting and speaking.(4)Rejecting digital treatment plans.Methods of research: 1.Communication: Communicate with patients about the purpose of attending hospital and to understand patient's discontent of their anterior teeth and expectation of new crown's aesthetic properties.2.Examination: Run intra-oral and para-oral examinations and take X-ray photos before surgery operation to decide on the diagnosis.3.Collecting materials: Collect patients' digital photos and intra-oral scanning data(3shape TRIOS Scanner).4.Analysis and design of aesthetics: Import digital photos into Smiles-designing software(3 shape smile design).Formulate prosthetic plans of aesthetics properties.Finish the Digital Smile Design(DSD)in cooperation of dentists,technicians and patients to produce a DSD aesthetics image.Fit the scanning data of intraoral areas with DSD image to display complete aesthetic effects.Then perform subtle adjustments to obtain satisfactory graphics.5.Tooth preparation : After patients have been satisfied with the aesthetic design,Tooth preparation will be operated according to the fitting graphics.6.Collection of tooth's data: Scan the information after tooth preparation.7.Design and fabrication of crown: Fit and superimpose two-dimension DSD aesthetics picture onto three-dimension stereo model and integrate the data in accordance with DSD virtual framework to finish the whole design of repair.Manufacture the ultimate crown via CAM(Computer Aided manufacturing).8.Printing model: Print the 3-D digital model,reset the crown onto the digital model and adjust ultimate shapes and colors.9.Trying on and coherence: Try on the ultimate crown and compare the result with previous prediction to test its consistency.Then finish coherence.10 Periodic review and reassessing the effectiveness of aesthetics.Result: We combine 5 patients' intra-oral practical condition with their personalized requirements to provide digital prosthetic plans for patients.After clinical operations,it shows that aesthetics property is consistent with smiling design before the operation and 5 patients were satisfied with their crowns.3 months later,5 patients all affirm the effectiveness of crowns' aesthetics properties and their ability to pronounce and chew recovered well without any discomfort.They are all very content.Conclusion: The digital prosthodontic of aesthetics is based on satisfying patients' personalized requirements: Via performing collection,analysis,design and CAD of patients' initial data which is fitted with DSD images to realize accurate expression of aesthetics.The process of digital prosthesis combines dentists,patients and technician closely which meanwhile realize aesthetics properties and accuracy,thus improving clinic efficiency and reducing the times of patients' reexamination.Furthermore,digital design has a function of removing patients' anxiety before the operation and therefore reduces unnecessary debates and quarrels to reach good communication.
