The Effect Of Baduanjin On Muscle Function And Quality Of Life In Patients With Lung Cancer Treated By Cyberknife

Objective:To explore the effect of Baduanjin on muscle function,cancer-related fatigue and quality of life of patients with lung cancer treated by Cyberknife and evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention.Methods:78 cases of lung cancer were treated with Cyberknife in the oncology department,Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,then they were randomly divided into control group and intervention group,39 in each group.The patients in the control group were given the routine nursing of the treatment of Cyberknife,and the patients in the intervention group were given Baduanjin exercise program on the basis of the control group.Set up a exercise group and train the patients in the first week,after passing the examination,and formulate the individualized training program according to the principle of step-by-step.in details:in the second to third week,under the guidance of members in the training team,4times a week,5 minutes warm-up,13 minutes Baduanjin exercise and 5minutes stretching;within one month after discharge,with the company and supervision of the family members,5 times a week,5 minutes warm-up,20minutes Baduanjin exercise and 5 minutes stretching;from one month to three months after discharge,5 times a week,5 minutes warm-up,25 minutes Baduanjin exercise and 5 minutes stretching.During the training,the training time,subjective physical feeling grade score and discomfort symptoms were recorded.The patients were followed up regularly every week to inquire about their health status and Baduanjin exercise,and urged to return to hospital on time for reexamination.We observed and recorded the changes of grip strength,walking speed,6-minute walking distance,stand walk test time,cancer-related fatigue and quality of life at before the intervention,1 month and 3 months.T test was used to compare the measurement data of normal distribution between groups at a certain time point,rank sum test was used to compare the measurement data of skew distribution between groups;?~2test or Kruskal Wallis H test was used to compare the count data between groups;repeated measurement analysis of variance was used to compare the three time points;two pairs within the group were used to LSD-t test.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Results:In this study,data collection was completed in 71 subjects,35 in the control group and 36 in the intervention group.We used SPSS 20.0 to analyze the data.The results are as follows:(1)In terms of the effect of muscle function,the main effect of walking speed,6MWD and TUGT was statistically different(P<0.05);there was statistical difference between 6MWD and TUGT measured at different time(P<0.05);there was interaction between walking speed,6MWD and TUGT measured time and group(P<0.05).(2)In terms of cancer-related fatigue,the main effect of grouping factors on fatigue score is significant(F=5.498,P=0.022),and there is interaction between the time of fatigue assessment and groups(F=5.053,P=0.020).(3)In terms of quality of life:the quality of life of the two groups was improved to different degrees,and the intervention effects of physiological function,emotional status,functional status and total score of quality of life were statistically different(P<0.05);the dimensions and total score of quality of life measured at different times were statistically different(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)Through 3-month intervention of Baduanjin exercise,the walking speed and 6-minute walking distance of patients were increased,and the time of stand walk test was reduced,which indicated that the exercise could improve the muscle function of patients with lung cancer treated by Cyberknife to some extent;(2)This study found that the score of cancer-related fatigue decreased,which could improve the fatigue status of patients;(3)Meanwhile,the physiological function of patients who insisted on Baduanjin exercise was improved.The emotional status,functional status and lung cancer related symptoms were also improved,so that the quality of life of patients was improved.There was no adverse event in the whole intervention process,with good compliance and good reflection.
