Purpose: This article uses mild moxibustion to study the nursing intervention of elderly patients with chest paralysis and constipation with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. The research provides simple, easy, reliable and safe TCM nursing technology intervention methods for the prevention of constipation in elderly patients, effectively prevent various complications caused by poor defecation, and better improve the life quality of elderly patients with constipation during hospitalization.Method: 120 elderly patients with chest paralysis and constipation who met the inclusion criteria was randomly divided into observation group of 60 patients and control group of 60 patients during the overall study.Patients in the observation group implemented mild moxibustion for nursing intervention on basis of routine nursing,7 days for 1 course,a total of 2 courses for a total of 14 days. The control group was given routine nursing and health education. After all the treatment courses are completed, the patient is measured. The measured data was recorded, collected, recorded in Excel to establish a database, and SPSS24.0 software is used for statistical analysis.Result:1.Baseline assessmentThe general information(gender, education, family residence, body mass index, etc.)and related factors affecting constipation(defecation environment, bowel habits, diet, drinking water Quantity, etc.)in the two groups of patients were compared, and the differences between two groups were not statistically significant(P> 0.05).Therefore,the two groups were comparable. Before the experiment, there was no statistically significant difference in the self-evaluation score of constipation patients symptoms and the scores of life quality of the constipation patients between the two groups(P > 0.05).Therefore,the two groups were comparable.2.Self-evaluation score for symptoms of constipation patientsAfter the experiment intervention, the three symptom self-evaluation scores and total score of the constipation patients in the observation group and the control group were compared, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.001).The three symptom self-evaluation scores and total score of the constipation patients in the observation group after 2 weeks of intervention were compared with those before the experimental intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.001).The three symptom self-evaluation scores and total score of the constipation patients in the control group after 2 weeks of intervention were compared with those before the experimental intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.001).3.Quality of life score for patients with constipationAfter the experiment intervention, the four dimensions scores and total scores of the constipation patients in the observation group and the control group in all dimensions life quality were compared, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.001).The four dimensions scores and total scores of life quality of the constipation patients in the observation group after 2 weeks of intervention were compared with those before the experimental intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.001).The four dimensions scores and total scores of life quality of the constipation patients in the control group after 2 weeks of intervention were compared with those before the experimental intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.001).4.Time to first defecation in both groups after the trialDuring the experiment, the difference of the first defecation time between the observation group and the control group was statistically significant(P <0.001).5.Adverse reactionsThe incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 3.33%,and the incidence of adverse reactions in the control group was 5%.Conclusion:1.Mild moxibustion is effective in treating elderly patients with chest paralysis and constipation due to qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome, which is superior to conventional nursing and health education. This method has a better effect on stool symptoms, rectal symptoms and abdominal symptoms caused by constipation.2.Mild moxibustion has a certain regulating effect on the psychological state of elderly patients with chest paralysis and constipation with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. Its efficacy can alleviate the anxiety of elderly patients with constipation symptoms, improve their satisfaction with mild moxibustion for ameliorating constipation symptoms satisfaction improves their mental state and life quality, and reflects the overall view of TCM nursing and the curative effect of Chinese medicine therapy.3.Mild moxibustion can shorten the time for the patient to defecate for the first time, and the operation is simple and safe. The incidence of adverse reactions after intervention is very low. This method is a characteristic nursing technology of traditional Chinese medicine, which can be widely implemented in clinical practice.
