Objective:To investigate the distribution of TCM syndrome by factor analysis, and to provide a more comprehensive basis for syndrome differentiation and treatment. Methods:This study used cross-sectional method to collect the general situation, information questionnaire(including four diagnosis information, tongue pulse image,Zung self-rated depression scale)of middle-aged female patients with mild depression in the department of encephalopathy of Shanxi traditional Chinese medicine hospital from March2018 to September 2019.Results:1.analysis of the four diagnosis information :832 middle-aged female mild depression patients in the first 15 of the four diagnosis symptoms from large to small frequency:mental depression, insomnia, irregular menstruation, restlessness, chest pain, decreased interest, always want to cry, breast pain, easily frightened, dry mouth bitter, suspicious, forgetful, abdominal pain, good too rest, epigastric stuffy;the first three of the tongue image is light red, thin white, quality red;pulse before the three pulse is pulse string, pulse slip.2.factor analysis: through the validity test of 832 cases data, the KMO value is 0.801,the Bartlett significance is 0.000.it can be seen that this study is suitable for factor analysis, and the applicability analysis shows that the total variance value after extraction is concentrated around 0.7,and the total cumulative variance contribution rate reaches70.929%,which can fully cover and explain the original variables.the variance rotation is carried out.after 15 iterations converge, the eight factor load matrices after rotation are obtained.they are named as f1-f8,and the variables where the load coefficient >0.3 are selected.According to the clinical practice of mild depression,The above syndromes were reduced to seven TCM syndromes: liver stagnation and spleen deficiency(f1),phlegm-qi intersection obstruction(f3),phlegm-heat stagnation(f7),heart-spleen deficiency(f8),heart-liver yin deficiency(f4f6),qi stagnation and blood stasis(f2f5).The distribution of TCM syndromes of mild depression in 832 middle-aged women was as follows :There were 190 cases(22.8%)of F1 liver stagnation and spleen deficiency,89 cases(10.7%)ofF2 phlegm-qi obstruction type,159 cases(19.1%)of F3 phlegm-heat stagnation type,156cases(18.7%)of F4 heart-spleen deficiency type,134 cases(16.2%)of F5 heart-liver yin deficiency type,103 cases(12.5%)of F6 qi stagnation and blood stasis type.Conclusion:1.the results of factor analysis, the TCM syndromes of mild depression in 6 middle-aged women were obtained:(1)Liver depression and spleen deficiency: mental depression, trance, paranoia, easily frightened and timid, lying down less moving, short qi fatigue, insomnia, low voice, stomach distention, anorexia, abdominal distension and abdominal pain,self-sweating,constipation,diarrhea,thin white fur, weak veins.(2)Phlegm and heat stagnation: decreased interest, restlessness, irritability and irritability, dry eyes, bitter mouth, cough and sputum, palpitations, constipation, irregular menstruation, red, fur yellow greasy, smooth pulse string, pulse number.(3)Deficiency of the heart and spleen: restlessness, doubt, forgetfulness, low voice, restlessness of palpitations, distended stomach, anorexia and weak veins.(4)Heart and liver yin deficiency: depression, trance, irritability and irritability, restlessness, irritability and irritability, mental retardation, insomnia, forgetfulness, headache and dizziness, dry eyes, tinnitus discomfort, dry mouth, dry pharynx, hand and foot heart heat, chest and flank pain, palpitations, hot flashes, night sweats, constipation, red, thin fur or fur white, pulse count.(5)Qi stagnation and blood stasis type: mental depression, decreased interest, restlessness, trance, mental retardation, irritability and irritability, constant desire to cry, insomnia, forgetfulness, headache and dizziness, dry pharynx, good rest, belching, breast distended pain, anorexia, abdominal distention and abdominal pain, diarrhea, cold time heat, irregular menstruation, abnormal subband, dark red, ecchymosis, pulse string or pulse string acerbity.(6)Phlegm and qi obstruction: insomnia, dry pharynx, foreign body sensation in pharynx, cough and sputum, abdominal distention, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain,self-sweating,hot flashes and night sweats, cold and hot times, constipation, diarrhea, irregular menstruation, thin white fur, white fur and smooth veins.2.Conclusion :(1)The syndrome of depression is caused by emotion, and the location of the disease is closely related to the liver, the disease and qi depression;(2)the liver and spleen are closely related, and the liver disease often invades the spleen;(3)the syndrome type of single disease position and disease is less.It is feasible to use factor analysis to study the distribution of mild depression in middle-aged women and provide basic basis for clinical syndrome differentiation.
